In my country, we use VND. Now, exchange rate of currency is 19480 VND =1$. There are many denominations, the smallest is 500 VND, the largest is 500000 VND. They are made of paper or polymer. On each sheet of money has picture of president Ho Chi Minh who all Vietnamese people love. We use mostly cash, card payment is not popular but growing.
I have no chance of contact with other countries currency. Do you know which country has the most beautiful currency?

Well, we have Euros in Europe but I'm not sure about the current exchange rate. I think it's around 1EUR = 0,80$ or something like that. The coins are different for every country in Europe but the notes are the same. You can look it up in Wikipedia.org for more info.

Hi BichDiep7191!
I'm from the Philippines and our currency is called Peso.
$1 = P44.00 (sometimes less than, sometimes more than)
We can only buy a kilo for $1.00
We have coins in the following denominations:
In cents .01, .05, .10 and .25
In pesos P1.00, 5.00 and 10.00
Our bills comes in the following: P20, 50, 100, 500 and 1,000
The Australian bills are very durable because I've seen one and it can't get wet. You can't even tear easily with bare hands.

"We can only buy a kilo for $1.00" - I meant about the rice.
On Australia's banknotes, yes their notes are durable. They made them out of polymer. They started issuing these kind of notes in 1988 and now all Australian notes are made of polymer.
If you want to read more about Australia's currency, here's the complete history and all to it from Wikipedia:

Hello it is an interesting discussion to discuss with. Our currency is Philippine Peso, we have 20, 50, 100, 500 and 1000 peso bills. For me, the best look of currency that I have ever seen is from AUSTRALIAN DOLLAR, it is like a play money and the color is really good. I haven't touched australian dollar but I saw it already with my naked eyes, second for me is the EURO money I like it's denomination from small bill 5 euro to big bill 200 euro. 5 euro is smaller than 10 euro.

In india we use Rupees and 42Rupee = 1US$. The highest currency we have is 1000 Rupees notes. I have seen currencies of different countries as a friend of mine used to collect currency notes. The English Pound looks beautiful.

Yes, pound is the best currency which I prefer.
its everything a currency should have.
It has the highest value and most beautiful looking symbol.
When it comes to exchange rate, it can be considered as the standard and every currency can be compared to as fractions.
The pound has the highest value I suppose.
But still I doubt its value being highest, as I heard from someone that Kuwait Riyal's value is the highest in the world.

I also want to see the pound directly. I want to know whether it is as beautiful as you said.Currency of each country has specific characteristics depending on the culture of that country. That's interesting.

We got the 5th edition currency of Yuan in China. The exchange rate to dollar is 6.6593 yuan =1$, and it's value is rising, as so many west countries like. We got the largest denomination 100 yuan, and the smallest 0.1 yuan. And we also get a 0.01 yuan coin, for a long time it is out of the market, but it's still used in supermarkets and banks now.

I am from the United States. We have the USD. Our paper money has pictures of historic men that help build our nation's foundation. I am also Mexican and of course we have pesos in Mexico.
With my husband being in the Navy and doing deployments to other countries he would bring me the currencies from other countries like Spain, Italy, Dubai, Eygpt, ect. I have a collection of paper and coins.

I'm from the Philippines and our currency is Philippine Pesos. You can see for yourself how our currency looks like and how it is evolving in terms of designs. It is like going to trip to our nation's history. Some are rare collections, and you may find some bizzare shaped coins -- shaped like a flower, shaped like a chicklet gum, uncut bills, and others.. I hope you could take a look at my blog which is all about my collection of Philippine coins and bills. here it is: http://www.philippinecurrencycollection.blogspot.com
thank you :-)

In Denmark we use Danish Kroner, also called DKK.
They used to have a special look, but 2 years ago, the government, chose to "redesign" our bills, so they look more like euros.
So Basically, in some years, we get euro too! :)
the exchange rate right now is, 5,56 DKK = $1

Well that kind of money sounds weird to me and so our money canada money will probably sound strange to you.We have dollars and 100 cents equal 1 dollar. We have coins which are 2 dollar coins , then 1 dollar coins quarters or quarter dollars dimes ,nickels ,and pennies . Our bills are 100,50,20,10,5.We used to have 1 and 2 dollar bills but they were replaced by coins around 10-20 years ago.It can be a pain sometimes carrying around so many coins but they are nice and colorful and their are many different designs around for quarter and dollars that adds variety to our money.

I'm from Canada. We have dollars here. But not United States dollars. Our currency tends to fluctuate on the world marked linked by the US dollar. That is mainly because we are located directly over the top of the US and I believe over 70% of our trade is with the US. Currently the Canadian dollar is trading at about 0.97 = 1 US $. Our currency is 100 cents to $1. We have paper money from $5, $10, $20 and up, and coins of 1c, 5c, 10c, 25c 50c $1 and $2.
Our $1 coin has a bird on it called a Loon so we call it the loonie! Our $2 coin came out a couple of years after the loonie, so we call it a twonie, even though it has a bear on it.
