When I get up every morning I try to put myself together asap!

After getting up I try to put myself together so I don't look like I just got up. I don't want anyone other then my husband seeing me look a mess. I don't like him to see me this way so I try to get my hair and dressed before long after getting up.I do this cause never know who may show up at your door at any time of the day.
My brother in law is looking for a new wife and he looks a mess until about 10am. Well yesterday my brother in law took us to where we get our eggs,this lady has a single daughter and she is looking for a husband. It was about 3pm when we showed up at their homes and her daughter came over to meet my brother in law. She was a mess I wouldn't have gone out to meet someone that I had never met looking a mess. Do you get up everyday and try to look your best asap? Do you try to look like you wouldn't be ashamed to meet say the president? Or are you one of those that just say what ever and let people meet you looking a mess?

You sound like my Mum! She works in a kitchen so gets full of flour as she cooks for the kids first thing in the morning at a school.
As soon as she comes home she gets changed and looks like a new woman!

I think that is good that you care what people think of you and that you are very comfortable with your husband seeing you as you are. I have friends that wouldn't even let their husbands see them a mess. I make sure that I look at least decent whenever I go out unless it is a special event I am not getting all doll up for nothing.

Hi Kaeleya and welcome to my lot. I don't get all dolled up unless it is for something real special either. I don't wear a lot of make up any time. I wear eye liner and eye lash and sometimes a little lipstick. We are neat people and like to look neat all the time no matter what we are doing.

When I get up I usually take a bath, and that's the thing I do in the first place.
I actually don't really care about how I look, but at least I can go out or meet people with proper appearance.

good many of the indian women do that , they wake up early and have puja part and touches the feet of the husband and try other things after that only , use this

Hmmmm....that sounds interesting. Well i always get up and have a shower and groom myself. My wife also does the same. She gets up in the morning, showers and then puts her make up.

Hi Edwardjoy. And I bet you take pride in your wife for doing this! And you know she takes pride in you for doing this also. My husband and I do the same thing everyday no matter if we are going somewhere or just staying home. It is a good thing to look your best daily.

I think 'm the kind of person who sais "what ever", but i don't want you tho think that i do not care about how i present myself at answering the door. I have a very fixed morning scheduale, i do all things in a certain order, and getting pretty is last on my least, just before getting out of the house, so if someone rings before that moment, it is not my fault

Hi IoanaBI. I don't get really prepared for company till about 8:30am because I have other chores that I must do before I can take the time to do what needs to be done for myself. But by 3pm I think someone should have had time to fix their hair and dressed. That was my whole point of this discussion was. I don't want anyone to see me after 8:30am with my hair a mess. Thanks for sharing .
