Is spanking an acceptable form of punishment?

Do you spank your children (or would you if you had them)? I do and I think it's ok and people should not tell me how to raise my children.

No. I do not spank my children. I think its lazy to resort to violence rather than take the time and energy to teach your children. Positive discipline works so much better.
