Today I'm annoyed!

I'm annoyed because, like everyone here, I try hard to get referrals for the various programs that I participate in, so when I exchange referrals with other people, I think it's going to be a good thing - you help me, I help you - right? Well... not so, apparently. Because I keep signing up for programs and then doing what I am supposed to do to earn, and then the ones who say they are going to sign up for me either don't sign up, or they sign up and do nothing! I only sign up to sites that look interesting to me, so I'm usually not going to just quit a site because one of my referrals isn't working for me at all, but at the same time how fair is it that now they are earning from me, and me, I get nothing because they did not hold up their part of the bargain? Yes, very annoyed today. I am an honest, regular clicker on my PTC sites and other earning sites. I don't know why I can't get referrals who are the same way because OBVIOUSLY there are people besides me clicking and working those sites!
