Have you ever heard that people that have a genius IQ are either great or horrible? Well, Hitler did actually have a genius IQ... He just used it in the wrong manner. He was hateful and mean. As far as I am concerned MEAN PEOPLE STINK!!! If he would have used his intelligence to unite the world instead of attempting to demolish an entire race/religion the world would be a totally different place. He is not a symbol of violence to me but a symbol of sick hatred. HE was HORRIBLE.

For me Hitler is a source of Inspiration. People might not agree with him on certain matters but that should not be the only reason to dislike him. He had many good qualities also. Had he won the war the map of the world would have been different. I feel he is blamed just because he lost the war. It is not good. One should take things impartially.

A man who used political fervor and his own charisma to become a notorious, heinous, disgusting killer.

Inspiration? not on your life even those as some have commented he was a good speaker. He was charismatic and a good communicator. He did two things that stand out....he built the first Interstate Highway (The Audubom) and created the VW Beetle. Volks=people Wagon=car hence Car of the People. However, he was stupid. He tried to to do what Napoleon couldn't invade Russia (Soviet Union). I dread the thought of what might have happened had he turned to the Eastern Front (i.e. UK) and won.

wow, if anyone likes the dictatorship of someone that burns alive hundreds of thousands of innocent people, and takes others to a bridge bounding two at a time together then shooting one off a bridge and the other following and drowning to save bullets.
I don't see it, and I imagine many others won't either, but yet, I guess everyone is entitled to there opinion

I think it's both actually. An inspiration to be a better person.. and to treat other people with respect. And a symbol of violence because.. well.. that's self explanitory.

Hitler was an evil man. So a symbol of violence. Not sure how you could think otherwise.
