What Do You Do To Spice Up Your Life?

My life has been SO boring lately. The only fun thing in my week is when I see my boyfriend.
But with college and my part time job, it leaves me less than an hour to do what I want to do. College work eats up most of my time. Right now, I just can't focus on reading anymore of Sir Gawain and the Green Knight, so I'm browsing myLot. All I did Saturday was read 40 pages in my Education Psychology book, wash my clothes and bed sheets and dust and vacuum my room. I am getting sick of having a boring life.

Have you ever come to a point in your daily routine where you're just plain bored of it all? I'm so bored of going to work every day and going to class and studying. I need a break and the semester just started a month ago! What do you do to 'spice up' your boring life when you can't just stop the things you have to do?[/b]

I declare a day to let the "regular stuff" go by the wayside and I find something creative to do. I write a poem or do a little craft. I go for coffee with a friend. I just make a little break in routine. What kind of a job do you have? Of course when part of my life was based on school schedules I took advantage of those school breaks and made sure to do a little something different.

You are preaching to the choir here. My life is pretty boring as well. Stresfful but not really exciting. I did go to Navy Pier in Chicago a couple of weeks ago just my husband and I without the kids that was very nice. We are also going to go to a he** dinner. That means it is seven courses of things peppers cooked in different ways, it is suppossed to all be really spicy. We are going with friends it should be a lot of fun watching everyone burn their tongue and sweat and all that. I guess that is as exciting as it gets for a mom of three. Enjoy your college years, it doesn't get any more fun after you graduate. So go out and have some fun now while you are young.

Usually after my kids to bed I go online for hours chatting on facebook and seeing all the updates and leaving comments. While I do that I do things online such as mylot and paid surveys etc. I am usually listing things on ebay at the same time. Some nights I can do as much of that because I have a lot of housework to do. Once a week or so the highlight of my week is going to meet up with this guy that I'm seeing. Right now I've made him pretty angry and he isnt speaking to me. I'm hoping he forgives me soon because I hate not hearing from him :(

talk of boring come see me here at Gold Crest on a too hot Sunday afternoonn a nd I am mylotting to keep from being bored and to make
much needed money for my internet bill.there are no extra curricular
things for us on the weekend so its really boring and the blasted
heat wave is not helping any either here in Southern California
if anything its drying our forests out so we will again have
'those horrid wild fires that consume so many homes.so my life
as a senior citizen sure has no spice in it.

Hi,
I do feel boring with my life sometimes and I do hope
the time can turn back to my single life, full of freedom and no heavy
burden on my shoulder,But I knew it is impossible and I just need
to carry on with my current life.
With motherhood life, I am taking care of my son full-time,doing housechores and
cooking. Time flies pretty fast and most of my time is at home.
Of course, during weekend, I will be out with my family for a short break.
Sometimes, I do wish I can have more time on my OWN,at least, I can do my things without any disruption. But with my son around, I have to share part of my time
with him, however, I do enjoy my motherhood alot.

My life has been boring for many years now. Without a job there's nothing to do. So I stay home, cruise the Internet (myLot, take surveys, go to Facebook) and watch VHS and DVD's. Last week I helped a guy do his accounting homework. I've never had accounting before so it was the blind leading the blind. So far there's nothing to "spice up" my life. I have some folks coming from Detroit to give me a computer. I might go back with them for a while.

My last semester in college, I was so burned out I could hardly stand it. And I couldn't even think of the possibility of going to school again for years afterward. When you get like that, you just need to take a break!

Well, I have 6 kids and a pregnant girl friend living with us so they keep me busy but it might help you to remind yourself of why you are going to college in the first place. I don't know how long you have been going or how much longer you have but remember that all your hard work will pay off in the end. You just have to keep pushing through it for now and after you are done, you will be able to relax and believe it or not, you will miss being in school. I know I do! Take some time off and go have a message or something. Treat yourself to some pampering! Thats what I do and it feels great.

Hey I do nothing in present for spice up for my life. But now I want to do something good in my life which really makes my life spicy. I think my life is so boring and there is no any fun in my life. Because all of mine friends are busy with their family and jobs. But now I want to call my all friends on a place where we really want to make fun.

Sad to say that there will be more days like these down the road. And yes, how you deal with it would be part of having a healthy life.
The good thing about your case is that school has an end date. Although the semister just started, if you just keep at it, the sem will end. And if you string a few semesters together, you will graduate. And hopefully get a better life, and fewer days like these.
What I do? I justify travel at work. I would build a case at work so my boss would let me go to different places.

Honey every day for a very long time now. Please strive through it all and remember your goal and plans. It seems like this is all that your life is cut out for, but keep telling yourself that some day this will come to an end.
Remember the fruits afterward and all would have been worth the drag. Take a bit of time to relax your mind especially after a long week of this daily routine. Good Luck to you steph as I know you will get through it all.

I love to spice up my life when i can ,by playing video games and trying out things that i normally do not do.I recently went skydiving and i can say that really spiced up my normal routine. It is really frighting being up their miles above the ground and jumping. Some people just can't do it and are to just scared to be able to jump due to their fear of great heights.I love trying new things and whenever i can do something that i am greaty afraid of to break my fear and to really live life to its fullest.

I spend time with my friends, going to a coffee shop! And Friday or Saturday night, we sometimes go to our favorite hang outs if we don't have class at night. And If I'm bored in the house, I just watch and do some cleaning.

Yeah, I am also bored with my daily routine. I am just at home, I cannot go visit my friend because I have a baby to take good care of and sometimes there comes a time that I wanted to go back to the past where I can do a lot of things and whatever I like. When it comes to spicing up my life, I go clubbing, dance and drink, going out with my friends, and breathing the fresh air of nature. My hubby doesn't allow me that anymore.
Right now, I just have a little source in my hand to spice up my life :( I just sit here in front of my computer - surf the internet, watch television, play with my son and sleep.
I am also bored and I guess I can do nothing about it.

My life is VERY routine! I sit here and write, do myLot and take surveys from 8-5 then knit, read or watch TV till 10 or 11. Sometimes I'm so bored! So yesterday, my usual day to visit my dad, I made egg rolls! I'd forgotten how satisfying it is to make a good dish that someone really craves.
I'm going to change my routine a bit this week--"work" still has to be done to help pay the bills but I'm going to get up every couple hours and so some work on the stationary bike, stretch a bit, and play with the dogs. I'm entirely too complacent and sedentary! Small changes, but it will brighten up the day a bit.
I think this next weekend I'll take a drive in the country and look at the beautiful changing leaves. That should break up the routine, too!

I'm tired of my daily routine too. But I've managed to spice things up a little by going to cycling whenever I can. Plus I play badminton 3 times a week. That was cool. Otherwise I'll be very very dull like Jack.

After a long hard day at office I go home and gossip with my friends. We generally do have a lot of fun while gossiping. Even if for half an hour that freshen me up and get me ready for next day's hustle-bustle. My family and friends really didn't let me feel me bore that much. But sometimes the daily routine can really take to you. At that time I seek some adventure and find myself a way of adventure. It can be anything. Thus I enjoy my life. As far as college life is concerned try and enjoy the moment coz you are going to miss it future like most of us. Whatever the way you find interesting do break the jinx.
