Life is a story and it unfolds around us constantly. If you are at home walk out on your front or back porch and come back and tell us all what you saw. Next time you go to buy groceries pay attention to all the people around you...they may each be in your next article. The women with their small children riding in the buggies are always interesting to me. Mothers have a great deal of patience in which they don't always get credit for. Or have you ever noticed the old man who sits out front of the local Wal-Mart on the bench...never says a word but oh man the stories he could probably tell. The world is chock full of interesting people and it's up to people like us to go find them. Have a great day!

That site has some good advice. I've used the one about going back to finding muses and inspiration quite a few times. That one usually helps me get going. If not, then I like to get lost in my own made up world. I read back over what I've written and I think about where I want to go with the story. If I've got an idea for something that comes later, then I just go ahead and skip to that part. I find it easier to go back and fill in the blank than to write in a straight line.

I'm realizing that I have writer's block when I am in my Commercial Writing Class. My professor mentioned that maybe I should take a break the next time that I have another one. So that is another suggestion is to take a break from the computer. Take a walk in the park.
