It's official, I broke my toe

I stubbed my toe 3 times since Friday night and went for xrays at the hospital today and I was told that it was broken. Go figure, I have an active job on my feet, and this could be problematic. But I'm going to try not to let it bother me. I've never broken toes before, but I have broken a couple of bones in the past, so this isn't really anything new to me.

Did they do anything to it, your broken toe? I heard they don't do anything for that. What I do know for sure is, since it is broke, you are bound to hit it again. It never fails. Same thing with a smashed finger. You can go forever and never hit it but once you do, and there is damage, you are sure to hit it, get it hit, or bump it on something. Good luck.

I know, and that's why it wasn't once but 3 times in less than 2 days. And it hurt a whole lot the first time, never mind the next 2. I did it at home, and I don't wear shoes in the house, but I will start wearing something to try to prevent it again.

Aww man, a broken toe sucks! I broke my toe in 2001 running up the steps, the pain was so tremendous, It forced me to take my time going up and down the steps. A broken toe is not pleasant, hope you have a speedy recovery Kris:)

That is not good, and the real bad thing is they don't do anything for a broken toe. I hope you can still work. It will be very rough.

I broke my pinky toe before. It was painful!! But I finally got over it and it finally lost all the bruising! Then I slipped in the bathtub and it got caught on the faucet and broke again! Now that really hurt!!

I have suffered a broken toe several times, usually from hitting the leg of a piece of furniture. I learned long ago that there is not much you can do except be careful and endure the pain until it heals. If you go to the doctor, he will say you have a broken toe. I know that. He will then tell you to be careful not to hit anything with it and it will heal in about six weeks. I know that, too, so a visit to a doctor is pointless. For normal fractures, there is nothing a doctor can do except tell you what you already know. You will be able to walk and spend time on your feet, but it won't be a lot of fun.

That is such a shame that that happened to you.I hope that you get better and are able to walk with ease soon.I stubbed my toe real bad a few times but never enough to make my toe broken. When something like this happenes it is just something in like that people have to deal with and even though it is a bother now you will be waling again before you know it.Hope you can return home soon and are able to get back to your normal every day routinue and have fun again , cheers!
