When you meet a new friend do you immediately introduce them to your old/older friends or do you hold off on them awhile until you know that your friends will like them? Usually when I meet someone new that I would like to have as a friend i usually introduce them immediately to my friends so that they feel comfortable around them and so we can all do things together instead of me hanging around them seperatly. So which do you prefer?

When the chance permits, I introduce new friends to my old friends so that whenever there is an occasion that I want to invite them both, there won't be an awkward moments around them and entertaining both of the same time will be easier. However, I still prefer to have separate time with them because there are things I want to talk about with my old friends that I can't talk about around my new friends. But of course hanging out with them at the same time is fun..as they say, the more, the merrier. =)

when I meet new friends..I introduce myself to them..
I also realize and appreciate..the difference between my old friends and the new friends..how they act as your friend..but of course I didn't forget my old friends even if I already have new..

i think i'm not gonna introduce my new friend to my old firends at the first time. i will see my new friend's characteristic first, so later, i'm not gonna fight with my old friend just because my new friend has bad characteristic.

I never worry about someone new that I meet, if any of my friends are around I introduce them. I figure my friends can figure out on their own if they want to get to know the new person.

Interesting topic. When I meet a new friend I typically get to know them a little more before I jump in to introducing them to my other friends. I do this for the simple reason that at frist meeting someone I'm not sure if they are a true friend yet or if they would even get along with my other friends. More often than not they are a person that will in fact get a long with the group but I just wouldn't feel comfortable throwing a new person that I'm not too familiar with in to the mix of my existing friends.

Well, I always make sure that my friends know each other, too. If there's a chance to introduce them t each other, why not.I'd be glad that the people I love hanging out know each other.
However, my old friends are a lot special than the new ones because we already bonded deeply. Plus, new friends might be temporary. They may easily go as they easily come.:)

hello lala,
if i meet a new person and i find him/he interesting that i want to be their friend,i would want to know them more myself first before i would introduce them to my old friends.it's much better to know well the person more myself so i can know if they are worth it to be trusted and for my friends also to be happy and contented if they happen to know them as well.
it's nice when you have gained a new friend, who you know can be friends also to your old friends and you'll all get along with each other very well.

When i found a new friend, I used to bond with him/her first before introducing to my set of friends. It feels good to have a new friend where you can trust & depend on it.
