That’s really the title of this episode. It’s a play on the title of Quentin Tarantino’s “femme fatale” movie Kill Bill. There are some similarities, like both star an avenging woman, but that’s where the similarity ends. The 3rd episode of Nikita is about an online investigative journalist named Jill who stumbled upon a conspiracy that is being covered up by Nikita’s evil previous employer’s (I still don’t know their name. Maybe I should start calling them “The Company”). The Company, who was protecting an airline company from being exposed as a drug-dealing type, is trying to kill Jill, but thanks to Nikita and her partner inside the company Alex, they saved Jill, and they might even have found a new partner.
Another fantastic episode. It’s really filling the gap for me that was left when Alias ended. You can only re-watch a series for so long. Loving Nikita more and more. She acting like a bubbly girl was hilarious. Who says Maggie Q can’t act? We also see more of Amanda, how she is like the head interrogator for the Company. I thought she’d be more like Jack Bauer in her techniques. She reminds me of Angelina Jolie, and I think it will be cool if we see her in a fighting scene. It will be great if she wrests control of the company later on, maybe after Percy (the current leader) is killed.
I think this is the first time I’ve seen someone on a TV show who breaks their own arms/shoulders to get out of an arm lock. It shows how far Nikita can push herself to get what she wants. Pain is nothing to her. The only way the Company can stop her now is to kill her, and we all know that will not happen, or it will be the end of the series.
