I think business is better then the job because if you have learned the skill to sale the product, it is sure that you will succeed in business. At that time, you need not to do the job for earning money. These days everything is a product, even you are providing education or other services. If you are expert in it, then business is better. In business you are the boss.
So what is you choice a Business or a Job??

Life, sometimes we will face many choices,
A stable job, and into business, when these two options when in front of you, what would you choose?
Chose the former, life will be stable number,
The latter is bound to pay the hard times, but also to withstand the main risk of a heart,

I totally agree with Dengshijie, but if you have an option to maintain you 9-5job and have business at the same time, isn't it great? That's what I am doing right now. I have joined an MLM company and learning the ins and outs of the business. I am always fascinated how the leverage/ residual income works for a person and I am aiming to do that. I know others will not agree with me but it is a matter of belief and peroective of an individual. As for me, I want to get free with the rat race and have more time with my family without worrying about financial need. It will still be a long way to go to get that but at least I am taking action NOW. I am not quitting my job and just fo the business as part time. At this point in time I am not risking anything right?
Are there any mylotters taking the same path as I did?

I've been an employee for almost 15 years now, thus, I've reached this point where I'm eager to move on and try new things like having a business of my own. I think I've gained enough skills to make it on my own. So definitely, I'm eyeing to go into business!

Have you considered what kind of business you want to venture to? I am working for five years now and I come into terms that employee will not be rich just being an employee forever. So for 2010, I tried to make a difference in my life. I took a risk and invested a little in an MLM company. I am always fascinated how leverage/networking as a marketing strategy works. Of course, like any other business, you have to work hard for it for you to build a network. I did not quit my job as I am doing this business as part time only so I don't risk any at all. In fact, I will gain something in doing it.

no one would really like to be someone's slave right? you see well i think most people would like to of course have their own business. :)
but there is this friend of mine who said that when you have your own business its not really sure that it will have a steady income - but at least you have your own time... unlike when you have a stable job, you know when to expect your money, or salary.

Havin your own business is quiet good and give you better personality of being you. coz running of your own business it means that you will give your 100% customer focus, decision, flexibility, ... etc... coz if you fail to do so your business will not reach the vision and mission you want to grow your business. although there's an advantage that you can manage your time, you are a Boss.... but it is not easy as this is. For a job is also good coz you expect your monthly salary... your personality grow coz you've learned a lot on your job bcoz the company provide you a good training... but to be able to improve on your selected profession you also need to follow the TODA... you need also to give the 100% of you. For me both is not easy its a good decision you need to reach a better life.

I agree with you, it's better to manage one's own business than to work for other people's company. It is more difficult of course, but if you do your best, you can be successful and you can even provide jobs for more people.

A business is better than a job, but we should remember that all of us weren't born rich.
So getting a job is a jump start for many of us. While on the job, we need to save up and grow our money so that eventually we could be our own boss.

Firstly I want to do jobs. Because I want to take some experience for handling business. I think if you have experience of many jobs then you never feel any difficulty because you face all difficulty while you were in job. And also you have experience of everything. So I think then it good for you to handle your business. So after doing jobs for many years I want to start my own business.

For me, after I graduate, I will put up my own business rather than doing any job because what my prof. says when I was in his class, that no one will ever succeed in job unless you make you own business.

Hi rautrahul,I think i would choose the former alternative,to be a boss myself.Though a stable job can offer me a comfortable life,it can't offer me many chances and challenges so that i would be a mediocrity all my life.I love to challenge myself and live with passion. What maters is that i always have ambitions.LoL.
Happy mylotting!

many of us started working in order to gain experience not only for the future job opportunities but for future business also because i beleive if u want to make business you must start to work first related to any business you want to open or have in the future.for me business is better than to have job .nothing gets rich by just being employed for a job for the rest of her or his life but by venturing into a business you have maximum profits waiting if you have all the knowledge experience into your business.
