It has been almost 10 years since eczema started bothering me, it's really itchy, painful at times and of course embarrassing because I'm not a kid anymore. I tried different ointments but it still keeps on coming back after a few weeks. Can you suggest a natural way of treating eczema, you know, without taking medicine or applying ointments.

I have suffered from eczema my whole life and have tried many different things. I have been unable to find a perfect cure though. I don't know about you but I use something for a small amount of time and then it stops working. I have a whole bunch of lotions and ointments that I cycle through.
I started getting it on my hands about five years ago and until recently could not find any relief. I know this may sound pretty odd but someone once told me to try drinking my first morning pee. Well that is just not going to happen. I did however decide to try peeing on my hands with my first morning pee and that has offered a tremendous amount of relief.
I have been told many times about the benefits of urine therapy and have always felt just to gross about it. You should try looking it up to see if it might be something you could use.
You can't get more natural than that!

That's really gross! But anyway, I also heard people believe in that kind of natural treatment, but like you, I wouldn't try that unless maybe my life depends on that, LOL! Thank you for the response though. =)

I know it really is gross~
On another note I learned a new one today at work. If you have eczema on your hands you can put Crisco on them at night and wear white cotton gloves to bed. I am going to give it a try and see how it goes as my hands are so effected.

I have also suffered with eczema all my life. I have always had to use an ointment. When I do it seems to go away for a while. I did notice that after getting our water softner, I did not have as much trouble with it as I did before. If it does pop up, I go to the dermatologist.

Yeah, I think that's the only thing we can do if we cannot take the pain or the inconvenience anymore. Thanks for the response. =)
