such thing exists in India. here most of the marriages are performed by matching horoscope. and touch wood most of the marriages are successful. horoscopes tell the truth provided u give proper info about ur birth time and place. well my belief is that, untill and unless u r compatible with a person you will never fall in love with him/her.

No, i don`t think that, and certainly i don`t choose my boyfriend about this criterion. Is true the planets can influence us, but i don`t think we have to listen to all that the zodiac says about our sign, or his sign.

In our filipino culture, we don't but I have an indian friend who was inlove with someone but couldn't pursue in courting her since accordingly, they were not astrologically compatible. absurd it may sound but that's their belief and that's how their culture dictates. I learned that if they don't follow the stars, they they will be bound for a lifetime badluck. Years had past and at last he married someone who was astrologically compatible with him. well, I just don't know if they really go along so well as i seldom communicate with him. he's one good friend.

Very interesting ... I think astrology is to do nothing with marriage it works as a helping helping hand / guideline that let us know few things that actually are not in our hand... But still where love exists these things hardly matters... Life's main motive is to live happily and how we live, with whom we live matters a lot rather than whether we will live long or whether we will have kids... and various other questions... lol ... I thought, if it is true there is someone choose a friend or spouse with a basis of astrology, that's the most foolish man thoughts. He will only have a limited and few friends in this world.

Reading through astrological signs of a person gives you bird's eye view of their personality. More often the attributes given on every signs is almost the exact personality of the person. If you compare yours and the prospective mate, you can more or less determine if you have something in common or complete opposite.
