Migraine and acupuncture

Help! Has anybody here tried acupuncture? My migraine is worst than ever and I just thought acupuncture can help lessen the attacks or at least the pain.

I'm a bit uneasy about putting needles in me. But with the pain that comes with a migraine I guess it wouldn't hurt to consider it. Lavender seems to help me a little or a cold cloth but sometimes nothing really seems to help at all. Sadly headaches seem to like being inside my head.
