Is appearance more important than other qualities ?

in can help but its not the only thing that is important. i do have a beautiful appearance. i am confident that though i am not perfectly beautiful i have my own beauty and that it became helpful for me.

A good appearance is important but not necessary. It is important because it is what you appear in the physical sense which creates impression as what you mentioned but what is important is within the person, knowing them better and deeper, you can only judge a person when you truly know them. A good appearance though doesn't necessarily be wearing luxurious stuff but its how you carry yourself outwardly. A person with a good personality plus a good heart is indeed the MOST BEAUTIFUL of all.

For me inner beauty in more important. personal hygene is second. Outter appearence comes in third.

people see us at the first time by our appearance. we can deny that appearance is number one to make some good impression. Then the quality would be number one. i have average appearance, and i can say i am not really success if i have to sell something

No, but it sure is as important as other qualities. I mean who wouldnt be proud to have a fine girl/wify,no one. but then again who would like to have a fine nagging girl/wife,no one too. I think all the qualities have the same importance. beauty itself has its own advantages and disadvantages. Yes,you get all the attention,have more guys,but then again there are pervert around who can easily be aroused and obsessed,also sometimes beauty can intimidate some men and thats why you find some beautiful girl without a man/husband and then you wonder whats up.

Having a pleasing appearance is a big help especially for initial or first impressions. There are also work or jobs which banks on physical appearance. However, appearances is not our "everything" in life. Beauty and appearances may only be skin deep. It is still important to observe good manners and right conduct because beauty becomes a waste when people around you discovers your true color. An beautiful but ill-mannered, rude and discourteous person becomes ugly and unwelcome in most cases. :D Good day!

For me appearance is a plus factor but most importantly is the personality. What the used of beauty if the person posses it is a person of disrespect people. I appreciate beauty most of all but I don't like others that look someone like an animal because they don't have the look... Personality is the best my friend...have a nice day!

I think many people obsessed to look beautiful and skinny. I think beauty is just about great skin and good cutting hair as long you have it every thing can manageable. I believe every woman created beautifully is just how far we want to maintain it. Most important than use how we enrich our life, because its so fun hang up with positive person, how ever they look because they made you feel there is hope in every thing.

When I was young and immature, I used to admire people on their physical qualities; now, for me the most important aspects of being a good person are her/his attitude.

Outer look for me is not really important but the inside quality of the person is really important because, what if you choose the outer look of the person but you don't know him/her yet.. and you've regret because she/he don't have the good quality inside.. i don't judge anybody.. if i am to choose who? i would really know him/her first before i will enter that kinda thing...

Whether beauty is vital varies from people to people, and from cases to cases. May what we should admit is that the apearance of a lady is more important than how a man look like in our society,we always appeal the equality of gender, pretty waman have more job opportunity and maybe more chance to marry to a man who has bright future or just only has a rich dadyy,maybe some relunctant to admit this, and this is human nature, at least in China.And some women whose job is service, then beauty is quite needed, we can't imagine a airline stewardness who is ugly looking, a pretty waitress can give us bright feeling. Crtainly,beauty is not just your face and slim body, but include your quality,your manner,and your smile. Case is also an important factor we should consider when mentioning beauty.If we need go to a business party, then clean hair, white color and tie are needed, this can make your clients feel your respect to them, in this case, beauty is never a bad thing.what's more, when in work, serious is necessary, and we should wear overall, but after work, putting on beautiful cltothes not only can give others good impression, but also give yourself good feeling. quality is the most vital thing all time, and beauty is never a bad thing, but never judge others by appearance.

Hi, I cannot qualify appearance as more important than any other aspects of one's being. Perhaps, I can say that the outside is just as important as the inside. We should give equal attention to our outer and inner appearances -- outer as one people physically see and the inner appearance as one's attitudes and character. Grooming ourselves or keeping our body clean are examples of giving due accordance to our outer appearance, not just for attracting other people, but for hygienic and healthy purposes. A person may not be physically beautiful, but presenting ourselves clean and hygienic will give beautiful appearance and better impression. On the other side,we should also give importance to our inner appearance, that means our attitudes and our brains. Beauty is skin deep, true, and the one that gives lasting impression is the person behind the skin. A positive persona begets positive karma.

i think appearance is also important but i think more important is your attitude. i also believe that we are all born beautiful in many ways, some cant see it but others can.. thats why for me there is no real beauty is. it is in the eyes of the beholder. because everyone of us has a different taste in different aspect. thats all thank you:D

I feel that there is a code of conduct for every one in this society. For example a police man should be dressed like a police man, a Justice should look like a justice when they are in their duties. But It is always not necessary for them to wear the official dress when ever they come out to meet friends or attending functions. But even then there is a certain amount of decorum to be followed to be successful in life and to get the respect from the public. Like wise every one has to follow a set of rules while appearing in the public places for them to be successful in life. A well dressed person achieves 50% of his target while entering his venture.

Appearance is important according to the occasion. For example a police man should be well dressed to depict as a police man, in order to carry out his functions effectively. A woman should be neatly dressed when appearing before an audience.The same woman may need to appear differentially if she is in a beauty contest.A judge should appear as a judge when he is in his chair and can be casual when attending a public function. Similarly, each person in this world has to appear differently at different times.There are set rules in the society and all have to follow this code of conduct to be successful in life.

For some appearance is everything and this makes them somewhat shallow. I know this because my own family is like that; to them it is important to be seen wearing the ‘right’ clothes and to be in the ‘right’ places which to me is a lot of nonsense! Looking good is something that can be enjoyed but it is not the most important thing. The essence of a person is what makes real relationships. I think that making the most of one’s appearance is great but like so many other things in life it is a matter of balancing the outer with the inner self. To me being a beautiful person on the inside is the most precious gift more so than outer beauty which is subjective anyway and short lived anyway.

i don't have a superb pretty appearance or beauty that can attract every man on earth but i am not frustrated about it. appearance is just what you see outside and it's not everything. though i am not saying that outer beauty is worthless 'coz like what you've said, there are instances that beauty is a need or must. it's actually good at one side being not so pretty. you'll know who cares for you though you're not someone who's so pretty. there are also times that someone who looks so good but got a really "ugly" characters end up being hated. so outer beauty is not everything. don't have to be frustrated about it.

outer look is important and can give you comfort of course, (i agree with the fact) but if you keep on searchin a person trying to depend on the outer look-time comes it will vanish and it is true.. most people wants to go with somebody thats good looking..but don't we wanna try to look at heart? A real man isn't found at its outer appearance but it out glows from the heart..-

i have a lil bit beautiful apperance..it help to find my husband but not helpful to find a work/job,lol!!but for me beautiful appearance is not too important,yes i want to look beautiful but beauty is useless if the brain is empty.i rather to be smart,talented,have a good attitude than to be beautiful but empty head.we can change our appearance by surgery but not the talent,attitude and being smart.we can have decent work and money if we are smart,talented and have a good attitude but we cant have a decent work and money if we are not smart,not talented and have rough attitude.for me inside is the most important than outside.
