I was looking at my profile this morning, something I rarely do, and I found to my shock that I had 2,002 page views since becoming a my lot member around three years ago. I was really surprised. I rarely look at profiles on my lot. What about you? DO you look at other's profiles on my lot?

I very seldom look at my profile but if I have a friend request I always check out the person's profile to see what their interests are and how old they are. I check the age because when I first joined I accepted some friends who were teenagers and early 20's and were nonsense posters with whom I had absolutely nothing in common with.

That's alot cream, but you hae started a lot of discussions so you have probably had a number of people look you up and find out what you are all about. I guess there are some other reasons such as moneymaking to look at profiles as well.

I look at people's profiles when they request me as a friend. I want to check out what they are about. On occasion, I'll go to a friend's profile to see if they posted any new pictures. Because I'd like to comment if they do. I don't do it that often though. I don't think of it. I just checked my profile views. It stands at 6,437. But I've been here 4 years.

Sometimes I do look at other people's profiles, and other times I do not. If I am just responding to a discussion or comment that is fairly straight-forward, then I do not generally visit the person's profile. If there is an issue that makes me question the gender or location of an individual, then I might visit the profile to see where they are from or whether they are male or female (usually this does not matter, but there are specific instances where it can be a factor in what a person posts or what my response might be). Other times, if the person seems to have a good sense of humor or I like what I am reading, then I might visit the profile to find other discussions that the person has created or responded to, so that I can read and respond to other things that I might like.

I look at other people's profiles too. Most of the time, the reason I view their profile is because I want to know what country they came from.
