do you add a friend people you don't know on facebook?

Hiya garneta, No I don´t add People that I don´t know at all sometimes not even the ones I know a little. I just refuse the offer and then trash the e-mail and that´s it. I do have offers from other People for me to join them but I don´t want to as I don´t know them at all. Not knowing what they want me to join is another because they don´t explain anything and if I read it mostly it sounds very vague and I can´t come to any conclusion as to what it´s all really about. So I delete them without giving them an answer. However some don´t give up and keep sending me the same thing so I block them eventually. I don´t feel bad about it either. I would not let someone into my House not knowing who they are same thing here.

before,i used to add friends even if i don't know them,but i deleted them after a week i guess. i realized what do i have to do with them if we really don't know each other well? and it's not like in here where we can discuss things and know about each other's views in life.someone we can interact with. so,i have learned it's much better to interact people who you don't know here,at least in discussions we can see what point of views other people have.not like in facebook. i do more of interacting there just of my relatives and frends who i know personally.

You are right! I just don't actually add them also, cause I don't know them. I think they didn't know if you ignore them as your friend. In my situation I didn't accept or reject them that's why I have many friend request. :))

No, never. I am a private person and do not want people I do not know, knowing my business.

I have some family members who do this. I don't understand it personally. Unless you were running a business and needed to connect to many people, I don't see the point of having friends that you do not know. My facebook friends are only close real life friends and family. I get friend request from people I don't know but I don't see the point in adding them if I don't really know them.

I also ignore the person adding me on facebook if I don't know him/her. I don't want to see many updates from friends in my facebook especially those people that keeps on updating their status every hour.

It's okay that you ignore them, I do that too. I used to invite people who I don't know just to have more friends for the sake of the games I play on facebook like mafia wars. But later on I realized that it's not really good having that much friends on facebook who I really don't know because I keep seeing lots of updates on the home feed that I pretty much don't care for. So I sorted out the ones I personally know and then deleted the rest.
