How many televisions do you have in your house?

Talking to some of my older family members they talk about the entire family gathering around one small TV to watch their favorite family show. Now it seems like every member of the family has their own TV and likes to watch their own thing. Which got me thinking, how many televisions does the normal family have in their house? Feel free to share!

Thanks for the post. It must make it difficult on the nights where there is a lot of great television. But it probably brings the family together.

We have three televisions in my house. My parents have one in their bedroom. I have one in my bedroom and then there is one in my room. My sister is the only one without a tv in her bedroom. I like being able to watch whatever I want, so having one in my room is nice.

I have three tvs but I really only watch one most of the time. One of them is in the room that my boarder has. He watches that one. One of them used to be on cable and is now on a converter box, but does not really get any stations. It did once dont know why it's not now, although I do use it once in awhile to watch a movie. I really only watch the main TV in the living room.

When I was young & still living with my parents, we had ONLY ONE TV. Yes, my family had to gather around it to watch what was on. We also had to agree on which show to watch. It was black & white & we had to get up & walk across the room to change the channel or the volume level (HORRORS) . We had only THREE stations & were GLAD to have those even though the program selection sucked on each channel!!! Today, I have 2 TVs & I love alone!!! At one point I had 3 TVs & I lived alone then too. I could walk from my den to my bedroom & NOT miss a thing that was happening on my show. Today I have 550 channels & still can't find much to watch!!!

We have three televisions; however, only two are used now. I think we could manage with one, but its nice to have one in a different room, so I can watch when my husband is sleeping.

I have three.
One downstairs, One in my bedroom and one which will be my sons in a couple of years to come that's currently spare. I also use my desktop pc's monitor as a television at times and although I haven't counted it could be classed as one.

Well, in my dorm room there's only one TV. At my family's home we have one in my parent's room and one in the basement- well, it's a projector, not a TV. We've always only had one or two. My boyfriend has seven. One in his parent's room, one in each of the kid's rooms (4) one in the living room and one in the "play" room. I don't understand why they need so many. *shrug*

We have one TV in my apartment since I'm the TV Show addict. I control the remote.
But back at home, we have 3 TVs. One for the boy's room, One for the Main room and one in the living room.

In my house we have 2 but we mostly only watch the one in the living room because that is the only tv that gets actual channels with a converter box. When I was younger and we had cable we also lived in a house with 8 people we had 7 tv's almost everyone had they're own.

My family has 2 televisions, but only one is plugged in. We keep the second one for our monthly gaming nights, that way the boys can be playing violent video games on the PS3 and the girls can play wii on the other tv. My husband would rather play games than watch tv, and in all honest there are only a few shows that I have any real interest in. i do not encourage my kids to watch tv either.

In my house there are five TVs. Two of them are more modern LCD TVs and the other three are really old. One of the old TVs is not even used anymore and it sits collecting dust in my room.

Hey I have 2 televisions in my home one is in another room. And one is another room. I think one television is sufficient but when we lived in another city then sometimes we purchased another television. And when we return after some years then we get all furniture’s and all things with us. So this situation is also with me.

I have one TV set on my house, but I use to watch TV on the PC, because I Live in Brazil and I like to watch the news in English, and on the internet we can watch all the World's channels by free, I just watch a little of the news on my TV.
