You just have to post as many here in mylot to earn more. You can also try www.Helium.com. It's an article writing where you will submit an article and if someone comments on it then you will earn. I think per article is worth $3 or more. I've tried Helium but you must submit many articles to earn more and the the downside is your article must be originally made by you and the article is not already published in other sites. You can read the FAQ of Helium.

You must contribute a lot of hours online, while you are keeping your regular job too. You must contribute regular 8 hours at work, and 8 hours online or even more to earn that much money. I don't really know if you can make $100 a month, that sounds really luxury to me though.

myot is good if you write alot. I also earn a good amount from the writing tasks by Sharonbucks. Aside from mylot I do freelance work from oDesk. Any job field you can think of they have. I do customer service from home, transcription, article writing and bookkeeping, etc. I am in your shoes as well and my husband lost his job so my need for more income is very high. Are you a newbie in online earnings? if yes then I suggest be careful in joining an online jobs, some people might take advantage of you because of this post some will promise you something to good to be true and in the end you will end up frustrated for too many sites that you joined that benefit others and not yourself.
