Many people say that our future or destiny is in our hands only. Then do you accept their theory or do you say that God has created our future and destiny. Many times I have realized that things had happened...good or bad.. without any effort on my part. I used to be surprised. Then I began to think some force is working and moulding my destiny. I do not know what it is? I thought it best to attribute everything to God.Even then I do not know how far I am correct. Some times I wanted to do something which I could not do for unknown reasons. Now I have completely left of thinking any thing.Just live as life presents itself daily and nothing more. What about you....?

God know everything. Present, past and the future.Destiny? It may be there. But man is endowed by his Will power. Suppose he is conscious of his life and wants to shape it by his efforts He can win but grace must assist him. Without God we can do nothing. Man has free will God has free will. At times when man pleads God, God has compassion on Him. God gives all the means to man to shape his life But the choice is a human effort. The human collaboration and God's grace both should meet. But nothing is absolute. At time God permits the suffering and it may lead to a higher good. Therefore there is the necessity to pray to God

You are perfectly correct. Both human efforts and grace of God are necessary.Only human efforts are not sufficient, therefore there some unseen force guiding the destiny of every one.How do you account for failure inspite of sincere and best effort.Praying is the best way of invoking Gods grace and at the same time do not fail in your efforts...

Really its a great mystery. Grace, human effort, destiny.... well a great mystery, We all know how many people put in hard labor, sacrificing everything and yet fail, how may kid over their life but fortune smiles at them and with least effort they enjoy great wealth...... How many people are touched by God experience and all the happiness follow.... How many parents shed their tears and sacrifice everything for their children and yet their children fail in life... how many youth become widows and undergo all the pain and strain. What is life? what is destiny? Who has deciphered a concrete solution?????? yet man's life is guided by manifold sources but ultimately he has to leave this body and then what about the soul?

your version is very philosophical and indeed an enlightenment to me.That which has a beginning has an end and similarly the human body which has a beginning has to see an end....

emm for me i think destiny isn't made by god but we made ourself the destiny for the example that is the bussinessman/girl doing one time to get a success i think i cant be they must be try thousand times to reach the success so that's why i think destiny isn't in god hands

You say that our destiny is not in God's hands and we create it. Is it not? With little effort some are successful and some fail inspite of their best and sincere efforts. In such a situation how can we say that we make our destiny ?

hmm just for the example a bussiness man cant success if they're only try once (altough the condition is different) they must try a thousand ways to get the success or to reach something and if the bussiness man drop again ,he can choose what will he do in him life,he want to kill himself? or just continue him life and start again from beginning,

The theory of Reincarnation explains this question very well, by showing us that we are in control. Between lifetimes we get our memory back ( of all our past lives) and are able to see our progression towards God. It is possible in this life, to see some past lives via meditation.(As a Yogi, I have seen some.) Past lives are disappointing if you are looking for excitement because they are like a chapter in an adventure story that you have already read. You are correct to live life as it presents its self every day, but many more things can be explained via Reincarnation.

Many attribute our success or failure to karma theory and they say God has nothing to do with our destiny.May be it is our own making. But we are unable to reconcile particularly when we face failure inspite of our sincere and best efforts..That is the problem...

We make our own destiny. God has giving us a lot of options to choose. Whatever is the outcome of your decisions, its your own choice. It doesn't mean that because you failed, it is part of God's plan. It is up to you on how to deal with the situation but never blame God for whatever may happen to you and never put everything to God because he is giving you all your needs but you also have to work on it. That is what we called over spiritualism, relying all to God which is not good.
God Bless..

God is very kind and He has given everything to us.You say it is for us to make use of them and make our destiny.OK.But many times we face failure inspite of our best efforts. How do you account for this.We get unexpected results some times causing joy and many times causing sorrow. What is this due to . I am not able to understand?.....

There is a saying "Destiny is not a matter of chance but a matter of choice. It is not a thing to be waited for; it is a thing to be achieved". We make our destiny on what we wanted in life and we choose it as well. God is always with us for guidance through our faith and prayers.

Hello, chayapathys. If there was a God pre-determining everybody's future, then I really would get bothered as to why has he special partiality towards some and don't towards others? It would make him cruel, unjust and unloving as he predetermined everything, including every nasty accident and vile deed that has ever happened, could we not rightly blame him for all the misery and suffering in the world? But the Bible says, " God is love" and he has given the humans the gift of " Free will". He definitely gives us instructions on how to live, but its upto us to follow those instructions or not. If we don't, then we are the ones to suffer the consequences of those choices, entirely upto us. God definitely gave us the privilege to make our own choices in life and I'm sure he didn't make us like machines and our remote in his hands. Have a great day...

yes. God has not created us like machines which we manufacture. We have brains unlike machines to think and act.But many times we find that inspite of our sincere and best efforts we face failures for no fault of us. How do you account for this . Many times I felt that some unseen force is guiding our destiny. Some times we cannot reason out the happening of things like tsunami or storm which destroys many things including human beings. We may call it laws of gravitation. But who created laws of gravitation.. so on so forth. Some unseen force is always working. Many including my self call it as God.God is love only and He is not cruel. The karmik theory propounds that everything has a cause ..whether good or bad..

There is no such thing as Luck or Destiny. We make our own decisions. What happens to us is our own making. There are outside factors like the car breaking down or losing our job because the company went out of business. But on the whole we control our own destiny.
We decide how we are going to live our lives.

Yes. You are correct to a great extent. That is what many people say. When you say that you decide your destiny .. many people want their destiny to be very bright and successful. But how do you account for their failure. You can observe that inspite of sincere and best efforts they fail for no fault of theirs. Then how do you judge the failure.Every one wants to be successful only but failures come.I am not able to convince my self that I can myself make my own destiny.Hard work is necessary but luck should favor...

I am always believed in God. And I think god is always with us. But I don't believe that god made our destiny. I think a person make their destiny in this world. Because if he doing good efforts then he surly get success on day. So I think destiny is in a person's hand. If he/she want to make it their or not.

You are correct to some extent. But we are not able to reconcile to a situation when we fail inspite of our sincere and best efforts while some succeed with little efforts. Is God playing with us....?

Believing God is one thing .That is the belief in Existence of God and His love and kindness etc. but believing in God's hand in making our destiny is a different issue. Then why we see differences in destinies of human beings. That leads to the question whether we are creators of our own destiny by our thoughts and deeds. I am in confusion....

Hi! I think God created our destiny but to reach it God has given us choices to make. Some, have an easy life while others go through difficulties. If we ask for God's guidance in every decision we make and if in times we fail but are still able to stand up and move on, I think will reach our destination faster.

Though God has created our destiny yet we should not fail in our duties. We should make the best use of the faculties God bestowed on us.With our own efforts we can make it bright...

I believe in God and I believe that He gives us roads to walk on them, but He doesn't force us to choose any particular road. We have free will and we are responsible for our actions. But we can always ask for Him to help us and we may receive that divine help. That way our life is influenced by Him, but I don't believe in predestination. If we had to fulfill a destiny which is decided before we were born, then it is useless to live and we have no responsibility on our actions. God influences our lives, but He doesn't take decisions for us.

You should not fail in your efforts. The efforts and decision is your and the at the same time there is unseen force working in deciding the destiny of every one.Though we work hard and confident we face failure and I think we should attribute it the unseen force. You may call the unseen force as God. Whether you believe or not it is there.
