Why do you think "Plants and Zombies" is so popular?

Have you ever played this game before?
I have played the game over and over again. I find it addicting! Kudos to the makers of this game! Imagine having the concept of a plant killing zombies of different kinds? I am envious of the creativity of the ones who invented this game. I hope I can also create a concept beyond my imagination. New concepts like ants killing an elephant, catsup or any condiments (being animated) haunting a burger and the like. Can you also suggest an entirely "out of the box" concept for a computer game? Even if its weird,one that you have not seen as a game.Please share your thoughts! :)

Wish I hadn't seen your question... I stopped playing this game several weeks ago, after being quite addicted to it; now, that you reminded me of it, I'm thinking about installing again
I played some other tower defense games before this one, and Garden Defense used to be one of my favorites, but i have to admit, none was really as much fun as shooting peas and cabbages at zombies.
I think it's so addictive partly because it's wacky - not too scary, not too sweet - but also because each of the levels brings something new - the plants and the zombies don't just grow stronger as you progress in the game, there's a new twist added every time. And I really loved that you could test the strategies by playing on the zombies' side in the minigames.

Thanks NowayRo! I have been an addict to this game. Thank God, I have overcome playing it. I used to spend all my free time playing this game. I realized there is a lot more interesting thing to do like answering forums here at myLot. I learn and I get to improve my communication skills a lot.
Gone are the days where I spend most of my time playing PSP, Gameboy and other internet and video games.

before i know several friends playing plants and zombies and i didn't know why they like it, but when i tried it, its really addicting. LOLs. I can spend several hours just playing it.
