MY parents never hit me, so i do not have a reason to run of them, but if it where for them to hit me, i`d try to talk with them, and say that i am sorry for my mistake, and they would forgive me.

When I was a kid, I would run when my parents beat me for the wrong things that I did. I was naughty as a kid. There was one time when I had a quarrel with my strict father and he was trying to beat me and I had to hide myself somewhere in the house without letting him find me. Thinking of this makes laugh at my behaviour. Now I have children of my own, but I don't beat them. That is not a good way of teaching children by beating. A better way is to show them how to do things correctly carefully and patiently. Take care.

Well back when I was younger and things like these would happen, I don't run. Why? Because when I run that would put my parents into raging more and giving me harder hits.

i run all the time, because most of the time, i did not intentionally commit the offense and that kind of mistake when beaten, the pain will leave a lasting impression on your body unlike when the mistake was as a result of your little mischievous pranks.

Of course, anyone would run away from anyone who's coming to try and beat them up. I used to just blame the wind when something fell and got broken. I never experienced the belt thing but i always got the hand slap on the thighs a lot.

I don't run from my parents, I've never experience being beaten by my parents. My mother will only pinch me and a bit of slap in my behind. My father never hurt me, only my brother spank me cause he caught me climbing the trees and playing outside under the heat of the sun.

NO I didn't run away from them I just stood there and took it. I learned pretty quick that if you run its much worse. My sisters never quite caught on though and they ran all the time. My mom would always pick something up to throw at them for running away and usually they would get hit by whatever she threw. But by the time I was 15, there was no reason to run, I wasn't going to get hit. They were just going to take something important to me away.

If you are 51 then why are your parents still beating you JeyakumarDickson? I haven't been beaten by my parents since I was 11 years old. At a certain time the beatings should stop as you grow into a man. There is no reason why a man should be beaten by his parents. When I was a child I did run when my father use to beat me. When I was a child he was very angry because he brought the frustrations of his job home. When I was a teenager I gave him the nick name "Daddy Rage" and I still call him "Dr" or the "doctor" which is short for "Daddy Rage". He is still an angry person who gets upset with the little things. Thats why his blood pressure is so high.
