Eating and Snacks

I am hungry it seems like all the time when I wake up after I drink my coffee and I feel hungry on the way to work, then about 11 a.m. I am hungry again, and lunch time is at 12;OO And then I get hungry again around 2 to 3p.m. I bring snacks with me to work and I don't understand why am I still hungry with snacks in between lunch and break? Doe this happen to you?

Are you over-weight or under-weight? If you are over-weight you are over eating. To help this you can drink a glass of water whenever you get hungry. If you are under-weight, eating all the time, and still hungry you might have intestinal worms that are thriving on your nourishment while your body is going hungry. If there is any question in your mind, and if either of these scenarios mirror your condition, it would be best to see a doctor.

I am 142 lbs but my doctor wants me to loose a few more pounds I was 161 lbs. I have to take a diuretic {water Pill} It is helping because I have high blood pressure so I have to watch things that I eat mainly salt, And that is no fun because most foods have salt in them but sometimes I cheat like on the weekend I will eat some chips. I like water, I need to drink more of it as a matter of a fact I am going to get a glass of water now, Thanks and thanks for the response and have a good day!!

I enjoy eating, especially snacks. There will come a day when I won't be able to eat many things, especially when I get older and have to reduce fats,sugar and so on! So while I can, I will continue to eat and enjoy food, as long as I don't put on unnecessary weight.

yes, always.i always feel hungry but i will make sure i just have a healthy snack between time.otherwise i will tend to eat more than i should and that is not good for my health.so i think you better check what kind of snack do you have and foods you eat in breakfast, lunch and dinner.you just mention coffee for breakfast and it is absolutely not enough.

I love to eat all the time and eat more than the standard of three meals a day.Whenever i get a chance i drink coffee and get a light snack to chew on.When i am having a busy at work i always like to go get coffee and a snack at Tim Hortons to help get me through the rest of the busy work day.I am always hungry as I work so hard and i need the calaries as i am particullary thin and could use the extra fat.

U know breakfast is great a meal of the day. In your breakfast add fiber & protein. When you so hungry, you eat so many vegetables & fruits. Please avoid snacks & eat so many fruits & vegetables. Fruits & vegetables make u more healthier.

Hi,
It is best to eat On Time ,or else, you may easily get
gastric problem and avoid eating too much snacks epecially
those kind of titbits, It may not good for health.
For me, I always take my meal on time and try not to skip
my meal.
Since you like to have some snacks in between meal,get some
healthy snacks which do good to your health.

Yes that is true but sometimes I get running late and have no time to stop for something and I am getting worse at it I try to buy snacks at the store when I am out grocery shopping and always seem to get the wrong things! I am confused when I go there I always end up buying the same old thing and it doesn't seem to last.

It doesn't matter if I am hungry or not. it doesn't matter if i have just had breakfast, lunch or dinner. i am always ready to eat a snack. sometimes it is the highlight of a hectic day.

You said you drink coffee, do you eat a breakfast? It is said breakfast is the most important meal of the day and will stop those hunger pangs that drives one to unhealthy eating habits like munching on snacks.
BUT if those snacks are fruits or raw veggies, even a handful of almonds is good for you, you're good to go, as long as you're not pigging out on a bunch of unhealthy crap.

hey u know what??? the most important meal of the day is BREAKFAST.
u have to eat a full breakfast. i mean a breakfast with fiber and protein. that will help u gets through the day. then if ur getting hungry, take small frequent snack of high fiber foods. like oatmeals, wheatbreads, oat biscuits, fruits or even veggie salads.. that will make u feel fuller..
fiber in the diet makes us feel full.. thats why it is recommeneded in the diet for the obese..

If you look at different books or health gurus they will say that most people can't eat 3 meals only but need to have 6 small "meals", not just snacks but it needs to be the right things and the right size. If you do it right you don't have to feel that its unusual or and don't have to feel guilty about it.
