I am very disappointed with myself. I'm a very sloppy. Today I get rid of house keys. I forgot where my house key. I carry a house key when delivering my daughter to school. I feel very bad person. Until now my husband did not know, if I remove the house keys. I'm afraid my husband mad. I tried to look for, and I really hope the house keys, I discovered before my husband came home. Any suggestions for me?

hello indahfth,
if you think that you will no longer be able to find the keys, why not have someone make a duplicate? of course that will cost but then it is better to have them than nothing.
you can inform your husband later. but, whether he gets angry or not, you already tried to make a solution to it.
what do you think?

Try to always keep your keys in the same place all the time. example. I always keep my keys in my handbag. Wherever i go i take my handbag and my keys are always there. My keys have a hook/clip on the ring. Inside my bag ive sewn a keyring. I always hook the keys on the ring inside my handbag.

Yes it seems that way. Im not perfect and have forgotten sometimes too. But at least 95% i do remember. The trouble of how else im going to get into the house helps me to remember. I live alone so i dont have the option to wait for another household member to get home. When i was younger, in my 20's i used to lock myself out of the house all the time. Seemed like i used the window more than the door.

Try to relax and retrace your steps. Did you get out of the car anywhere that you might have dropped them? Did you leave them in a pocket that you aren't used to using? Did you do anything out of the ordianry that might have caused you to put them somewhere other than the usual place?

Your husband has no right to be angry at you for making a mistake! It can happen to anyone to misplace keys! I’ve done it a lot of times and eventually found them when I re-traced every step I made since I saw them last! Don’t feel you are a bad person. Losing keys does not make one a bad individual, be kind to yourself, calm down and see if you can remember otherwise tell your husband that you are sorry but no one is perfect! Hope you found them by now!

Why are you THAT afraid of your husband? Does he mistreat you? Most husbands understand when other people make mistakes because they aren't perfect either.

I wish you luck in finding your key and hope that your husband will not be to angry if you do not find it before he returns.I always keep my keys on a key ring so I will not lose the that way I can keep ahold of them and if I should forget where they are I retrace the things i did before losing the keys.Good luck and have a great day.

Hi Indahfth,
Calm down, first of all. I am sure they were just misplaced. Think about the last time you used them and try to retrace your steps from there. Check the counters and the kitchen table and look under things. Empty your purse. I have thought I've lost my keys and they'll be in my purse but in my panic in searching I somehow miss them. In the bathroom?? I have come in the door and made a mad rush to the bathroom and anything in my hands gets set on the counter in there and I have forgotten my glasses and keys in that room and later thought I'd lost them. Once you find them, you should get a spare made up just for emergencies. I have one that I keep in the glove box of my car after locking myself out one day. Also, all my girls have one. Hope you find them and don't be so hard on yourself. I think everyone has at one time or another misplaced their house keys or car keys. Your human. Things happen.

Oh, I'm so happy to see you found your keys! I surely did not want you getting yelled at from your husband. We all have done this so you are not alone, that's for sure. I have locked my keys in my car, and also left them at a store once.
Now I check all the time to make sure I have my keys in my hand. If you can carry a purse or at least have a pocket you can keep them in, it will help. Make yourself an extra key and hide it by your house somewhere safe so you have an extra. Put it in your shoe if you have to, lol!
We all forget so don't feel bad. There is so much on our minds today, it's a miracle we can remember our way home.

hi indahfth your husband needs some anger management classes if he
can get that angry over misplaced house keys as this is a very human thing. we have all misplaced our house keys at one time or another and your husband needs to be more patient and understanding not angry all the time. I would have hated it if my husband had been like that. Now you need to relax and gradually work your way back to when you last had the keys then You will remember just where you left them. tell your hubby he needs t o be gentler and kinder t o his wife.

Just be at calm and everything will be fine. Try to think where you left the key and try to look inside your wallet and bag. If you really didn't remember and did not see where the key was remain calm. When your husband arrive just tell him softly and explain very well how it will happen. Don't be afraid to your husband he will understand you because he loves you just explain it well with confident. Relax my friend.

Hi, dear.
Tsk, tsk.... too bad you have that kind of situation...
why not try to work your mind back. I mean why not recall everything backward.Start from the most recent one until to that moment where you pick the housekeys. you migh have replaced it somewhere.
My husband is just like that, always forgetting where he put what....
I'm pretty sure, you'll find it. Just relax and be very patient. stay focused.
Goodluck....

it sucks when you lost a key. I once lost a key in my apartment and i have to destroy the entire lock just to get in. It has been several months and it has not been fixed yet. . But i guess your is a different case, just take the anger of your husband and let it subside. Besides, people tend to forget things every now and then and there's no exception so let's just hope that your husband is understanding.

I've been there before, and I'm step back to all what I've done before I lost my thing. And move forward, try to recall all my memories, and be calm.
Be calm, is the keyword to refresh your memory.

It sometimes happened to me if I was lacked of sleep. I forget things and I can't focus. Or it comes with my age. As we grew older, we experience memory gap. There are many memory enhancers that can be found in the market to boost up the memory..I hope that you will find the key soon before your husband arrive. I suggest that you should have a duplicate key. Give the other key to your husband, so next time you don't need to worry if this incident happens again.
