I like old and new movies, but not too much old movies-- you know what I mean. Old movies like "black and white"?-- Ha ha ha (^_^)-- I mean, old movies with a nice story plot and the movies were between, 90's.. well, I think, that is okay with me.

Well, since I like movie with CGs, then I prefer to watch latest movie than the old one.
Newer movie come with better technology that will produce better quality of audio and video, more effects to make the movie more attractive to be watched and create more imagination to come alive.
Disney and WB movies usually great in CGs, many of them have fantasy story and the CGs make it much better to watch. I like Pirates of Carribean, Shrek, Final Fantasy and another fantasy movies. :D

youth movies? like Shrek? and old movies like On Golden Pond or Grumpy Old Men?
I don't really understand.
I like new movies, LOVED Alice in Wonderland last spring and the Sherlock Holmes movie last winter. I like old movies like, my personal favorite, The Final Countdown, but we can go back even further and consider The Wizard of OZ. I don't care if the target audience are children or adults, but I'm less likely to go to horror or a "comedy of manners" than I am to see a science fiction or fantasy...

I watch old and new movies, it doesn't matter as long as I find it interesting. When I watch remakes of old movies, I also try to find and watch the old original ones. Me and my kids try to compare the differences between the two. It's also like a time travel when watching those old movies, wondering what was like during those time.

Well, I prefer youth movies because it's full of spirit and action. Even the drama version feels energetic, funny, and full of energy. I don't really like old movies because it's boring.

I agree that everyone has different tastes in films. I, for one, really love film noir. I'm young and people, not even my own parents, don't understand why I like old films, foreign films, and films made particularly for my kind of demographic. What people have to understand is, different films speak to different people in their own special way. It all depends on what a person prefers.

Old movies?? Hm the very thought of it is making me yawn...... There was a time in where i could only see old movies but now times have changed a lot here and i would prefer to watch only the latest youthful movies now. There are still times i doze off when my parents are watching an old movie. My brother is also like me only...
Cheers!

I don't really choose whether it's an old or new movie. As long as the story is nice and the actors or actresses are good. Then I will find the movie to be interesting. For me, those are just enough reasons for me to watch the movie without considering whether it old or new. -)

Foreign movies!
No, that wasn't a category. I think I like more contemporary movies, to be honest, but I feel like it's a must to see all the classics that have been made :) anything Audrey Hepburn, Gregory Peck, Ingrid Bergman, Humphrey Bogart...etc and I'm there
I think they don't make actors like they used to, but the movies are getting a bit more controversial and that's interesting to see happen.
