Christmas season is coming. Soon Christmas decorations will fill our homes, the malls, the streets ...everywhere. Santa Claus has been a Christmas icon. It is one of the symbols of Christmas. Many people have different views about Santa Claus. Gift-giving, being good and sharing of blessings has been associated with Santa Claus. Some believed in him, others don't. But if you have children, what will you say to them if they will ask you something about Santa Claus? Do you think Children should believe in Santa? When you were a kid, did you believe in Santa? Will encourage children to believe in Santa, too? :D

Of course Yes because Santa Claus is actually real. Let me tell you about him. The commercialized Santa Claus was coined after a Greek saint named Nikolaus of Myra. He was known to put coins in the shoes of kids which was then commercialized to the hanging red socks near the fireplace or on the christmas tree.

If I'd ever have kids of my own, I would definitely have them believe in Santa Claus because it's fun and I like my children to experience that joy of Christmas most symbolically represented for us Christians, not just by the birth of Jesus Christ but by the coming of Santa Claus. I would like them to have their Christmas Wishes and put up their Christmas Stockings and wake up during the early hours of Christmas believing it was Santa Claus who gave them their Christmas presents because they were good boys and girls. Things would eventually change when they start to grow up and find out the truth about Santa but they'll have fun-filled memories of Christmas and Santa Claus that they laugh about when they're older. Just like I did.
