What are the best media converter out there I can use?

Currently I have trouble converting certain media video files, such as those in MKV, or FLV, rmvb format. I used converters such as cucusoft, and AVS video converter, they all failed, or stuck in the middle of conversion process. Sometimes, I have to forced to closed them. I just wonder what other better conversion software out there that is universal for all formats, which I can reduce my headache a bit. Thanks!

I've tried and tested Wondershare Media Converter. Yeah, it's in the name, you could convert any audio or video into any format. It's a great quality tool!

Hi kingparker, i use iWisoft Free video converter as it supports most of the formats and converts between a wide range of format.
The best thing i like about this is its a free version with no limit or hours of encoding.

i am using total video convert which convert all formats to all
