It's raining very hard outside and I hear loud thunders and there are lightnings too. I'm not really scared of then its just that the heavy rain falling hard on our roof is so loud and noisy, you can't even hear yourself when you talk all the more with the thunders sounds. It gets really uncomfortable. What I'm more scared of is the flooding if these heavy rains won't stop. Just last year, our house was flooded because of the storm that came and it was really terrible and such a mess.

Yes I do. It's not the sound of the thunder although it may be deafening and scary sometimes. It's more for the lightning because it can be fatal. I just want to make sure that I'm not the next 'conductor'. And I wouldn't take anything for granted. Prevention is better than cure.

I really enjoy thunder storms, especially at night. I love to watch them and sometimes we get very intense storms here as we are surrounded by hills. We had a very bad one a few months ago and the thunder was so loud it shook the house and the lightning struck and made the electrical sockets fizz. I did not enjoy that so much!

i used to be a scardy cat when there's thunder. I dont know but it scares me. ther was this one time that i could recall, it was lunch and I have a 1pm class, I was alone at home, I took a nap for awihle, then suddenly it raned hard, and yes thunder,.. very very loud thunder. i was shaking, scared and was crying the wole time,. I felt to helpless and oh what a big loser was i that time. no one was there to comfor me, it blew my mind and i kept crying until i fall to sleep. then it was already night time when i wake up. luckily, im no longer scared of thunder nowadays, unlike before. well, that was some crazy experience about thunder. :)

I am not afraid of it...and the best thing everyone can do to overcome it is to face your fears and see that there is nothing that is going to harm you. Find out where this fear stemmed from, if you can, and face it head on. When you look fear in the face, it no longer has any "power" over you, so it dissappears. Good luck to everyone :)

I'm also not scared of either thunder or lightning. I'm actually curious at them, like how lightning forms into this bolts. I guess it's the noises hard rain and thunders make that is uncomfortable especially when i'm about to sleep.

I'm not scared of it, although I am wary. If it was to start while I was out, I would make sure I was to get into a safe place as I would rather be safer than sorry. As a child, I used to stand in the garden while it happened and I loved how the rain made the moment feel peaceful despite the sounds and flashes. Wasn't really a smart thing to do but no harm came of it. :)

I'm not scared of lightning or thunder storms. As a matter of fact I love thunder and lightning storms, especially at night time. I will sit at my window and watch a storm at night time. I like the loud noise, it gets my adreline going and I love to see the flashes in the sky, it reminds me of watching fireworks. I love rain storms when I am camping in my camper, not a tent, because I love to hear the pitter patter on my roof. Again, I especially love it at night as the pitter patter helps me to sleep. I have experienced a few floods in my days too but nothing really bad. The city I lived in was bad but not the areas I was living in. Cheers my friend, Chris

Well, sometimes, especially when the sound is too loud. When thunder or lightning are raging madly I always do my best to stay at home and do not turn electricity devices on.

Maybe as a child i feared the thunder and lightning at times. I do seem to have a fascination with storms. I like to watch them. thunder and lightning are part of that fascination.

I have to admit that they do scare me a little. I think what scares me the most if the thought of getting struck by lightening. I am mostly worried when i am out running errands in the rain and it begins to storm, but in the house i feel pretty safe so other than the noises it doesn't bother me

I am really scared of thunders especially lightnings. I just stay on my room and play loud sounds when there is thunders. I hate it, I think nobody wants thunders and lightnings.

I am not really scared of thunder and lighting. I actually try to anticipate when lightning strikes when I can hear the thunder rolling. It amazes me if its really loud, as if the lightning strike was really close by. I am more concerned about the water level when it rains. It gets really troublesome when it rains too much and, aside from the amount of rain, I would also be more worried about the strength of the wind. (_

I am not afraid of thunder and lightning, but I have respect for it. I know to get inside when the thunder lets me know that a storm is approaching. The odds of being struck by lightning are astronomical, but there is no use in taking chances. It is better to get inside.

right now i'm in my condo and i can see the lightning very well since we are on the third floor of the building. i am scared of lightning more than thunder since one of my relatives where hit by it when she was doing the laundry in the backyard... i'm not scared of the flood since we are on top but i am scared that it will not stop and and one of our apartments near the creek side will be again flooded.. i'm also concerned of my dog there since last year when Typhoon Ondoy struck he swam in the water from the creek almost overnight... i hope that won't happen again.. its raining hard and continuously today here so i'm getting scared as well..

I am not scared of lightning and thunder at all. But my mother is scared. She use to tell me to stay away from this and stay inside home. Dut i dont use to obey her in this. Usually i go outside and watch the rain. It is also nice to see lightning in the sky. You just watch its beauty. In my area, there is no problem of flooding . Sop i am quiet happy with rain
