My ideal parent is someone who can give me unconditional love while fairly communicating to me what they believe as right or wrong. I envision someone who can express and give me their honest feelings and someone who keeps growing to make themselves better as a human also. I hope to become a parent like this one day if I ever get a chance... but the standards may be high? Do you have an ideal image of a parent? Parents, did you have an ideal image of a parent and have you accomplished being this or does reality not mix with ideal?

Parents are human and it is a dream to expect them to be ideal. Unconditional love and support is a blessing. Children who are lucky enough to have good role models from their parents have a real advantage.

I believe that it is difficult if not impossible to have a perfect image of a parent because no matter what a parent does, there are going to be a lot of times that we make mistakes in our lives. That is one of the things that makes being a parent very difficult In addition to that, when looking at a parent through their child's eyes, there are more faults that we hadn't even taken into consideration. That said, two of the attributes that I think are the most important for a parent are to be stern and also be someone that a child feels comfortable talking to.

I yet to meet the ideal parent. We all have our strengths and our weaknesses. Being an ideal parent would certainly be something to strive for.

Hello Lore! My picture of an ideal parent is someone who loves me unconditionaly, supports me and give me trust. This things i already have from my real parents, even if i thought when i was a teenager that they aren't fulfilling their duty of parents. I think of it very diffrently now, then what i did back then, and i think that every parent wishes the best for his child.

I do feel that I am a good parent to my children. I believe that a parent has to be firm in thier discipline and that they have to love their child unconditionally and that they must support their decisions as well. However, we must guide them in the choices that they make even if they do not agree with what we are saying.

I am a mother for one little boy and being an ideal mother
for my son, I have to perform my duty well.
Since I have decided to give birth to him, I have the responsibility
to takecare of him, bring him up and educate him well.
This is the duty of being an ideal parent.
Both me and my husband has to provide my son with the perfect life.
No matter how tough is the life, we still have to fight for it and
never let our son feel suffer for his life when he was young.
We have to make sure that we fulfill his need(his necessity) and
give the best for him.
We must plan for his future, getting him some insurance protection is a
way to plan for his better future,it is also a kinda of investment.
Then we have to plan for his school, his education fee and let him grow up to be
a useful person. The most important is try to spend more time with
our son. Our children need our cares and loves and only when they have enough
love and care, they are able to grow up healthier and happily.
