I am living in the house nearby roadside, many of cars, truck, motorcycle etc went through on the road from this city each hour, which bring dirty dust and made unfresh air. I waked up this morning, I smelled the bad air, like gas, dust smell.I suddenly realized we breathe unfresh air everyday. How about your house? Is if far away from the road?Do you breathe fresh air?

This is one of the many reasons why i do not want to live in places that are way too convenient for transport. Especially here in the city, the buses, the jeepneys and even trikes would have bad smoke coming out of their cars! arghh i would hate to be breathing these everyday, from sunrise to sundown.
We are lucky our place is located at the back of the main road, we are in a subdivision, low rise condominium... with fresh air!! ha. its a nice place and when it gets windy.. it smells of trees!!

Hi chiyosan, it's so good that you have a good living condition too. Green trees with windy, it's so nice. I hope I can have one place like yours one day. Have a nice day!

My house is a bit far from the main road, so the air quality is generally good.
I have a air exchanger in the house, and it has a HEPA filter. Just in case the air got bad outside, and also during winter time. It got a heat recovery core, so we don't have the chill when using in cold days.
If you find yourself often been drowned in dirty air, prehaps is time to install a air exchanger. If is too much of a hassle, you can also consider buying a portal air purifier. There are lots of models out there to keep your air clean, you can choose the one that suit your needs.
When it comes to fresh air, no investment is too much.

Hi xenobane, thank you for your suggestions. I guess it's very good to fix a air exchanger in the house. I will buy one to get fresh air. Have a great day!

When I was a kid we used to live near a rubber factory. The rotten eggs smell filled our air every hour and the effect of this pollution has spoiled my sense of smell up till now. Fortunately, the factory was relocated as people were getting sick. Now I lived in the interior far from the busy town life and am getting the freshest air everyday.

our house is between rice fields so the air i breathe is so fresh. but when i go to school and go home, it's all dust and smoke that i breathe because of the vehicles and cars.
my friends envy me somehow for living in a place like ours and experiencing refreshing and clean air.
