Is anyone else addicted to music like I am?

I seriously have withdrawals if I don't get my "headphone time." Sometimes it's helpful because it motivates me to do house work or go take a walk, because then I have and "excuse" to put on my headphones and rock out for an hour or two.
At other times, it can really be a distraction if I am trying to study or something, and I suddenly get the urge to put them on and daydream rather than get my work done.
Honestly, if I have to go for more than a day without music I start to get angry and irritable! Does anyone else go to this extreme?

Well i am not addicted in the true sense of the word, but i can say i am fond of old hindi movie songs and devotional songs, i don't use a head phone, but if you enter my room, you can hear them running at a low volume, it keeps my mind cool..
Thank you so much.

Not to that extreme , but I certainly like listening to music. That is my favorite way to relax and get rid of the stresses of the day. I have a collection of CDs of different kinds of music. My most favorite is classical music, Chopin, Beethoven, Mozart, Brahms, Johan Strauss, and more. I listen to the CDs every evening after getting back home from my work.

I may not say that I am addicted to music. But, listening to music is my favorite way of relaxation and getting rid of the stresses. My full time job some times get really stressful and tiresome. So, after I get back home from work in the evening, I would listen to my favorite classical music CDs. That makes me feel much better and refreshed.

ahh yes. classical music is very relaxing. One of my all time favorite would have to be moonlight sonata.

I also went through a 'headphone phase' back in the day. That was when I was still a student, and there was not much in the form of entertainment except for music. It did help to clear my mind and to study for upcoming exams.
Nowadays, my music time is confined to when I'm driving. And music is the only allowable distraction.

One of the most enjoyable things in the world to me is to do house work or go for a walk with my headphones on. I'm losing some of my hearing because I turn them up loud enough to drown everything else around me out, and then I just let my mind wander as I'm cleaning or walking.
It's my personal hollodeck.
