There has been a lot of movies lately about December 21, 2012. Will the world end on that date? Can we do something about it? For me, all there is to do is to be prepared, at least we can have a fighting chance to deal with it. But what kind of preparation?
Or maybe its just another one of those scares that went the way of planetary alignment and Y2K Bug. Can anybody say something about this? It really bothers me every time I think about it.

Here we are! Still few hours and December 21, 2012 will arrive!
I think the World will continue to live so I don't care on what Mayas said. Even in the past people believes in other dates of the end of the World, but nothing happened so I don't see any reason to believe in Mayas prophecy.

End or not, I will enjoy every movies about End of Worlds
It's nice to see how people react and express (through movies, of course) of how to face the end of the world

Iam sure that on 2012 there will not be an apocalypse. I´m sure that all things like that (including all sacred books) have to be read as symbols and not letter by letter.
Predictions are not the same as wishes. But I wish for a year with less violence and more respect for each other and for our home (our planet). Maybe that will help a bit to put off those bad omens. I have heard several times talks about the end of the world. It never happened. We have to take care of others and of ourselves and stop worrying about what we cannot change.

Over the past centuries, there have been so many predictions as to the end of the world. But we're still here, aren't we? Nobody can ever predict when the world will end. So why bother with something that is out of our control. What is within our control is to live life as if it's the last day on earth. And that doesn't mean to just enjoy yourself but rather to make your life worth something and to help others and to be the best that you can be.
