I would love to have a tiger as a house pet too. However I don't think it would be a good idea. Even if you have a tiger from when he is small, it is and will always be a wild animal, it is in his DNA. So even if I would really like one, I think it might be dangerous, because you can never totally trust the tiger. Especially when you have children like I do, I think it would be safer not to have a tiger.

Given the chance, yes. I would love to have a tiger as a pet. A white tiger, to be specific. Although you cannot just own one like a dog. You need to have some kind of permit from the government in order to get a tiger for a pet.

i also would love to keep a tiger as a pet if fact one of my goals when i get older is to buy alot of land and take in abused and unwanted tigers and give them a good loving home i want to own my own rescue center and take in all kinds of animals including tigers i am not afraid that they would kill me that is just a risk that i am willing to take it may sound stupid but getting to care for an actual tiger just may be worth the risk of dying they are such beautiful majestic powerful animals

I won't keep a tiger as a pet. First, I don't know how to raise it. Second, the cost will be so large because it is a tiger rather than a cat. Third, it is somewhat dangerous. Fourth, they are wild animals and they belong to the nature.
I love China

I don't think its advice able to keep a tiger as a pet.Maybe if its baby tiger but as grown ups its very dangerous to family members.Animals are animals they are ferocious if provoke. yes sometimes we watch tiger shows in carnivals, but they have given long hours in training them. Some trainers even give too much punishment to tigers so that they will follow their trainers and these falls on the laws under Cruelty to Animals.

Haha, it's a funny idea. The tiger is lovely when it is little like a cat, you can't resist the temptation of touching it. But it really will grow up, and such a big cat have a good appetite, it will turn anger and fierce if lacking of food. I think it's hard to feed an adult tiger. And in addiction, tigers are endangered species, it's not easy to get a little tiger legally.

tigers are wild animals, u need the right tools and the right knowledge to keep one as a pet! tigers may look cute when they are young, but as they grow older, the demeanour changes greatly, to a fierce-looking monster. cats are the alternative. they are part of thesame family but these feline creatures never get big! always cute and small. speaking of cats, i have a grey and white one as a pet. nw he is 1 year old :D

No I would not like to keep Tiger as my pet. Here are the reasons why I am saying this
a. Tiger is a wild animal. By nature Tiger is a keen predator and carnivore.
b. Owning a Tiger is an enormous responsibility and the time and money that must be invested into proper care of this animal may be prohibitive.
c. Regulations concerning legally owning a pet Tiger are extremely restrictive for obvious reasons, such as public safety and welfare of the animal.
So my point of view is Tiger should be allowed to stay where it belongs and that is jungle.

I think just about everyone has dreamed of owning a tiger as a pet at one point or another. Likewise, just about everyone realizes the dangers that come along with housing a tiger in your own home. I honestly believe that wild animals should remain wild unless the circumstances require that the animal be housed in some other way. I also don't believe that one's personal home is a good place for these large cats.
There are zoos and sanctuaries that are specifically made for animals such as tigers, lions, and bears. "Oh my!" These are the only places that are equipped to handle an animal as large as a tiger, and these are the only places that they should be placed if they are unable to live in the wild.
It's unfortunate how many of these fantastic creatures are placed in homes around the world. Tigers are born hunters and they require nor desire any form of human contact. They aren't the cute, cuddly pets they can sometimes appear to be. They won't hesitate in most cases, to rip an arm off or even devour a full grown adult. My advice to anyone thinking about owning a tiger or any other large cat is this: Settle for a trip to the zoo, or do your research and make sure your qualified and work at one.

A tiger is a wild animal and is not a pet! Some people think they are and do have them as a pet! These people are crazy and I wish the US would ban people from owning them as pets! Some states don't allow people to own tigers but Texas is one state that allows it! People get attacked and killed by tigers ever year! They are wild animals and were never meant to be pets! People are stupid and out of their minds!
