this was the question my colleague kept on asking me. actually it was more of an expression than a question. hehe. just that he doesn't like our HR assistant who was naturally mean but is now worse because she's pregnant. hmmmm.... i feel pity for my colleague.

I don't think that pregnant women are mean. Like you said your HR assistant was naturally mean. If she got even meaner, it might be because she's having a hard time during her pregnancy. You're getting married soon and I'm sure you'll know how it feels to be pregnant. I have three babies of my own. I had different kinds of experiences with each of my pregnancy but the last one was the worst. I even had to do a blood transfusion because my blood count was way too low.

Can I just say that not all pregnant women are mean, I have carried 2 beautiful children and sometimes it does get hard carrying around a baby as well as yourself whilst working and keeping a household clean and tidy, especially when your husband is working too.
On top of the pain of carrying another person you have hormones raging everywhere, hormones that have not been as strong as before and they seem to control you.
When I was pregnant I used to start crying at work for no apparent reason, have you thought about talking to the lady and seeing if she needs any help, shes doing a magical thing carrying a baby, creating life...
