What is the difference between color and colour

Got a little confusion between both the words so say the difference

There is no difference in the 2 words, except for the spelling of course. It is just that different countries spell some words differently. For example in Australia we spell it "colour" but I think that the USA spells it "color".

There is no much of a difference with color & colour. color is derived from US English and other one is from UK English.

Color is the American English way of spelling it. Colour is the British English way of spelling it. They both mean the same and are pronounced the same.
