Is racism really that important of a main issue in the world or are we led to believe that by the media? Does racism really cause as many problems in society as many people believe?

All kinds of discrimination re MAIN issues because they lead to hathred. Racism, religion, genre, you name it. The only way to stop problems in society is to learn to respect each other.
Have you tried to walk on the wrong neighborhood? I would advise you not to do it.
Take care!

Hi there brute..
As they define it, racism is the hatred of one to another.. Racism is like basing one's abilities and characters by his or her race.. Racial discriination, for my opinion, is a global issue..
Yes I believe it causes problems in the society. No matter how we avoid it, we could still experience the effect of racial discrimination.. I have read an article about racism by Westerners toward Non-westerners which brought upon slavery even in the past 500-1000 years.. The racist believed that the black Africans were totally less human than white Europeans.
I really think it's bad that they have this racism thing. And I feel bad for what the black Africans had to go through because the Westerners feel like they are less human than them.
If anybody has the right to judge how much of being human a person is, then it's only God who can do it. How could they??
I hope racism would somehow be ended upon.. Because I know discrimination is still going on in different societies..
