To see is to believe mentality is one of the most commonly adopted by man. Mostly, man are born as visionary, it means that since birth one of the easiest way to improve is our visual capability. In our birth, we can see immediately light from our eyes, then, eventually we can figure out objects, things and human. So, in other words, we are born to be visual. But as we grow, we believe in things that we see and touch, and mostly we don not believe things that we cannot see. But there are things really exist that we cannot see and we must believe. Not all things that we see are basis in our mentality. God is real but we cannot see HIM but we believe in HIM, HIS existence.

Man does have a tendancy to believe what is right before his eyes; but, man also has a tendancy to try come up with an explanation for things he does not understand.
That tendancy to try to come up with explanations for things that are not understood is the very basis for all religion.
Primitive man saw lightning and the results; but, did not understand it. So, primitive man came up with the explanation that a being more powerful than any man (God) must be throwing these lightning bolts and and it must be because he was angry about another higher being or with humans.
Primitive man saw the sun rise and set and came up with many different ideas to explain this - Apollo, Ra, etc. simply because it was beyond human understanding at the time - at this time they all believed the world was flat.
Primitive man knew that females give birth; but, since seeds were not male or female there had to be a Goddess of the Earth/Harvest to make seeds sprout and grow; and, bad harvests must be becasue this Goddess was angry and people were sacrificed to fix the problem.
The examples just go on and on.
As humans became more aware of what was going on around them; their religions became more formalized and complicated until they evolved into the mess we have today. And, religions are still evolving even today - take ANY major religion and just look at the different sects that have developed. Humans still need a basic belief that things they cannot adequately explain with facts still have something or someone out there in control. And, until they see visual proof otherwise, they will continue with these beliefs in unseen all powerful beings.

Not necessarily. While seeing does eliminate some doubt, it doesn't eliminate all of it...even in scripture, the bible says that Jesus 'appeared' before the disciples, but some doubted! He was standing right in front of them...but they HEARD that the tomb was robbed by the disciples themselves! People believe this even to this day and over 500 people witnessed Christ's resurrection.
Faith is greater than sight...I guess that's why the Word says, 'Walk by faith, and not by sight...'

Believe is one of the things that will empower us to do better in life. Ever heard of the power of believe? When you believe in something, you'll work harder towards it and you become successful. Things like the paranormal. Some people believe, some people don't. Many things in life require us to see in order to believe that it really exist or happened.

A belief is a patch which covers the hole left when all the facts are not known. Without beliefs, we would lock up just like my old computer when all the facts were not known. One should never be satisfied with beliefs because a belief will not always be true. One must search to discover the facts even about God. If we are to blindly accept beliefs as fact, it can only mean that we do not care to know the real facts. It's time to discover the facts for yourself.

Seeing is believing. we don't often conceive the idea that something is true until we see it with our own eyes. We can blind ourselves to things that we can't see. it is only when we open our eyes and truly see the miracle of something that we can believe in it.

Yes you are right my friend. Most of the time, we must have to believe some things which are not seen, specially God, even things which are not seen yet, like places that you have not been before, example, if you live in USA and had not been yet to asian countries, you have to believe that there are asian countries, though you have not been get there yet.
So, I have to say that "to see is to believe" reasoning is unvalid, and we have not even to practice that if you have faith in God, and exercising christian life, you know why? Let us read in 2 Corinthian 4:18 "While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal"

Ok, give me a good, valid and proved explanation of the existance of your god, so I, as a visionary being can see if you have a point on that or not
And no, a "no proof is needed" is not a valid explanation, as you will understand, as that isn't an answer at all, for any kind of question.
I'm glad I have the priviledge of having a good eyesight, as there are so many beautiful things in this world for us to see
