Now for a slightly personal question. Don't answer if you think it is none of my business, But Do you pay your bills on time? I try to always pay my bills on time in order to protect my credit rating, but once in awhile one or two of them will get away from me.

I always pay my bills in advance because I don't want to be charged the delayed fee. No matter what I should pay for it sooner or later, and then I will make sure I won't delay it. So I pay for it in advance.

Usually they are apid on time. It all depends on what paychecks look like. If I have some extra money beyond what I normally alot for the week for grocery and gas, I'll pay a small bill like say my car insurance, phone bill early just to get it out of the way as next check may not be as large.

i try to pay my bills on time. usually it is paid every first week of the month, since most due dates fall on that week.
right now, we enrolled most of our utility bills to be auto-charged to one credit card, so we only have to pay the credit card for everything.

Same here. When my bills arrive, I see to it that they should be paid before they are due. I would always take note of the due date for me to calendar and remind me when to pay the bills. I prefer paying the bill advanced or on the date because I hate being charged or penalized. Another, I hate the hassle of long lines in the bills payment centers.

I always pay them on time. I never want to get behind. There was one time this year, that for some reason I forgot to pay Cox, my cable, internet, and phone company. I was annoyed with myself. But they didn't charge a late fee, so I didn't feel too badly. It's just important to me to stay up to date when it comes to money matters.

Sometimes it is better not to pay on time. My electricity bills come alternately as "meter read" and "Estimated". Or to use commoner's language, the real bill and the fake bill. Now the fake bill, if you paid it, would be deducted from the real bill. You might think that it wouldn't matter if you paid every bill on time. Yet, on close examination, you actually pay more if you pay the fake bill - if you wait for the real bill, you will pay LESS VAT! And with our VAT at 23%, you have a lot to lose!
