well its a tough question.for australia,to come to india and win a test series is always tougher than winning ashes.because of the condition and ofcourse flat pitches which dont yield results. this time,i am not impressed with the pace attack.johnson wont be a threat if he continue to bowl only the away going delivery.hilfenhaus hasnt toured india much.dougy will probably sit out.i want to see how hauritz bowl. reason. jason krejza got 12 wickets in the only test he played. ajantha mendis spell in srilanka is a memorable one. seems indians have this nasty habit of gifting their wickets for the new opposition spinners for their first match, especially sachin, who made it his habit to give the new bowler his wicket as a welcoming present. the indians have those 3 seamers who can take 5 wickets any time they want but go wicketless most of the time. you know whats the worst part.its a 2 test match series and i dont remember people really appreciate these test series.gets over before you even get interested

its been a tough season for indians to play lots of cricket, moreover world cup is nearing and bcci must have avoided such important series keeping in mind the health of the players.

India has good advantage specially Home-ground,spin attack and batting line-up.aus. is not performing very well presently their first aim to avoid defeat by indians or draw match,by the way it will be very interesting between this two, india has very better chance to take cup...

i think dhoni's boys can so the trick again. mainly our batting its so strong as the senior proffesionals will be back in test team. and bhajji i dont think that he will be much effective as he was in the past. but surely i hope the indian team to win the series.

I Think coming oct. is really very exiting month for people who loves cricket because two best teams in the world are going to play the test series. This series is so impartent to australians to get experience about indian pitches as world cup is going to held in india. Will the young australia beats the experienced indians in their home?

Australia should lose to India in both tests and one-dayers. India are a great team Australia is more like has beens lol. I don't really like Ricky Ponting he is the most unsportsman person in the history of Australia. Sometimes it makes me not interested in watching Australia play cricket and hence don't support Australia anymore.

Well Indian has the advantage of Home Ground, But we can never trust our Indian Team. It is one of the most inconsistent team in the world. You can never make out what's next. On the other hand teams like Australia are tough opponents. One thing i really like is that Mathew Hayden and Gilchrist are retired....:). Today i was reading about VVS Laxman who saved a match for India at Eden Gardens in the last tour when India was on the verge of loosing the game.On the whole I am very optomist and hoping that India will definitely clinch the series.
