Have you ever had someone copy your replies to questions so that they can get credited for participating in the discussion. Do you find it annoying?

I'm a newbie here in MyLot, and this is my first respond to a discussion. I think its really annoying if somebody's been copying everything just for credits, its like earning for something without exerting an effort, PIRATING that is...and its not a good attitude...people here in mylot should stop doing this...remeber...its much nicer to earn something out from you own KNOWLEDGE, EFFORT and TIME...

I agree with it being pirating, however the responses aren't copyrighted so I guess technically they are allowed to copy.

no no there is something somewhere in the mylot information that says you cannot copy other mylotters postings at all. so really report this person to mylot so they can deal with it. its wrong to copy anothers work at all. Mylot does not allow that.We are supposed to do our own thinking

I don't think I have. If some replies sound similar to yours, it might be because they feel the same way. Either than that, they might just have agreed to your opinion. But if it's copied word for word, then you can complain to admin. Not everybody can copy-paste lest they reached 500 participation rating. I sincerely hope you can resolve this.

nobbsy oh yes there is something in the mylot information saying you cannot gopy others users postings as that is plagizing. You can indeed
report this to the mylot admins and they will delete it as each of us must do our own positging and not just copy someone else., I had it happen to me too and I and the poster of the discussion also reported her as she used my words and added her user name and have a good day. it was not a good day for her as they deleted her account.yes its annoying and also illegal too. report this the next time you see it. we are all p

I wish I was that lucky. I felt kinda violated like copyright breaches but I can't see anywhere in the TOS that says that you can't type word to word other peoples discussions/replies. Maybe they need to update that. It can still be a waste of time updating the TOS because it seems that not everyone reads it. Thanks for your reply.
