Kingship through Hospitality

Nigeria

My friend once asked me Sam, why do people fight/struggle for Kingship? I told him to explain to me more so I would understand his problem. Sabasine my friend told me all the hassles involved in rulership, how a king is always tied down in solving other people's problems at all times. That neither a king has time for himself nor does a king go on leave, and so on. Kingship/rulership is very boring, Sabastine concluded. I told him, Sabastine, "You are already a King". Here is a person resident in Gboko, Benue State, "The Food Basket Region of Nigeria". Basically a farmer from that part of the world. Sabastine stood tall in taking care of the visitors in Gboko Town who came for their various problems like the Tiv Traditional Council meetings, some would have problems such as court cases and so on. He gave them accommodation, sufficient food and sometimes transport money to some extend. He also fed the orphans and clothed the widowed. Sometime later people started bringing simple family problems to him for judgment, at times people came to him to seek advice, and while he did they worked out well for them. Behold when it came demanding,Sabastine is now made a King in Gboko Town. SamShima.
