Noisey cards

My boyfriend's birthday is coming up very soon. I'm buying him a card tomorrow. Today I saw a card that reminded me of him. However, it's a musical card. While it's cute, I'm not sure I should buy it. What if he finds it annoying? But I can't ask him.
