Would You Dare See Me?

Hi dear eureka! Please do not get confused by the 'baby face', I myself cannot tell where my real face could be called as a 'baby face', it is for you to decide. Therefore, am sending you my photograph to asecertain how I look (please do check your mails). It is heartening to hear that I will be welcomed with open arms, if I happen to meet you. I welcome your idea of converting the virtual friendship into a real and everlasting one (by the way I treat you as my real friend, since the beginning of our friendship and do not think ever that you are like a virtual friend). Really, Ybong? You have had an eye ball before? THat is too bad that it had gone wasted. I'm not sure really if I can agree with that little sentiment. Some people are just too shy in person and or sometimes they are disillusioned about the unseen friend once they saw them already. I never felt awkward meeting someone in person but been interacting for quite sometime. Maybe, it is not my cup of tea to just stare (?) and let the time pass me by without grabbing the chance to really speak to a would be nice friend. I couldn't be sure if I'll share that same sentiments...:) Maybe, if we indeed have a chance then we should try to meet up and see what will happen. It could be a different story.:)

Neither do I. Though I got invitations but it seems that they feel discourage to see me once I told them that my kids will tag along.LOL I can not really tell that I'm a good conversationalist but given the job I used to have , I have learned to adapt to such sudden encounter.:)Besides, I'll not encourage myself meeting someone when I knew all along that we will be both bored. If ever, I'll be the driver and you'll be the passenger , relax and enjoy the ride.:)

I haven't tried meeting someone i met through the internet. I have a lot of friends in my facebook and friendster accounts but they are former classmates and colleagues that i've personal known. The other friends i've got are those here in mylot who are all virtual. I not really good at conversations in fact people who'd even mistake me as a snob. I really admire those persons who can easily make people at ease and start a conversation with a total stranger as if they've known each other for a long time already. Maybe you're one of those.

Yes your right, by the way, you look like your from Philippines, same as me. But I'm working here outside the country. I hope we can met when I go back there.

Well, that would be a great thing to do , perhaps, Aerous. I mean to see you finally. Of course, I'd love to see you as well as other lotters, too. Perhaps, someone from Manila can organize a get to know each other for all mylotters from Manila. I can not invite you to come over my place because I don't want to spread rumors that I am entertaining suitors still.LOL. Someday, perhaps. :)

For the meantime, we can interact and be good friends here in Mylot, Aerous until such time that an elder from our country organized a get together party for all Mylot Philippine users.:) I am just here in New Era. You are from Manila proper pala. I hate the traffic there... :)

Oh, it is really far, Knight. And from Cavite, you only have to take three rides to get to my place.:)But since it is obvious that you are a man, I will not invite you to come over. It is a big no to my husband... I hope one day, the more senior mylotters from the Philippines will soon find a way to gather all of us so that we can have a grand eye ball. It is going to be exciting meeting everybody and associate them with their thoughts/feelings they've shared with you in Mylot.I'd love to meet other lotters in person.:) As for you, Knight, looks can be deceiving and mind you that you are not the one who is going to tell if you are smart looking or not. The beholder has the sole power and authority to do that.:) So, you are proposing that we take this thing slowly. Start as text mates first, then from there, things might develop into something more comfortable, ei.:) That is seemingly the trend nowadays. But, I do agree with you on that, too. It will help having that little more personal connection through text before further jumping into a more deeper friendship. It will give both parties the chance to calculate the person's character. No need to fear when we eventually see each other, Knight. I don't look smart enough, too.And, I'd love to take you as a friend however you look.:)

Hi there, Katland.:) Thank you for dropping a line here. :) This is more probable perhaps for those who have offline jobs where they can meet up even after works but for some people like you and myself who stay at home to take care of things, then, we will be waiting for an opportunity to come our way to meet up with our mylot friends. I've seen other lotters from my country ,Philippines, that they also live in the same city where I am but we really don't see each other nor some of them I already have interaction. Yes, you are very much right about it. If you can pull out a friendship with that person virtually, it is a possible thing that you'll get along fine, too being in persons. :) It is better to know our friends' faces than just wondering what they look like.:)
