Does cheaters earn any money?

What do you think? Today i reeded about Gomes Peer hack (cheat). Cheaters says thay didnt earn nothing in Gomez Peer. Im not surprised. I think Gomez Peer admins are able catch hacks or cheats. I do not understand what is a reason to use hacks. Probably that people are to stuppid earn money by legal way. :P
