There are a lot of restaurants and stores that offer something free for your birthday. Some involve a catch of some kind (like restaurants that require an additional purchase or something), but some of them offer a pretty good deal. Do you take advantage of any of them? Which ones?
I have my son enrolled in the Toys R Us program, which gives him a $5 gift card for his birthday. It's not much, but I always use it to get him something small ($10 or less) that he'll love. We're also both enrolled in the birthday club for Cold Stone Creamery. A lot of the others I've found that require registration (Famous Dave's, Benihanas, etc) are places I don't go to very often, if ever, but I try to sign up for the ones that I do go to sometimes.

I eat for free on my birthday. Uno's, The place that has my all time favorite pizza, gives me a free entree for my birthday. It is great!

The birthday clubs are always
so much fun.
You can get the most fun things.
Sometimes, it's a gift card or
special discount or free icecream.
Some places offer a free ice cream cone-scoop.
There are hundreds of these special
birthday deals available.
You can easily find them online.
There are always lists of birthday freebies
available.

We take advantage of the free offers, as Red Robin is my favorite place to eat. They send a coupon for a free meal, so its a cheaper way to celebrate my birthday. I only use the ones we would visit and can't see any reason to pay more on my birthday.

Another one that you can do is Noodles & Company (if you have them by your home) - my sister just signed up for the e-mail club, which gives you a "buy one get one free" meal coupon, and then when your birthday comes around, you get a free birthday meal sent to you. It's a pretty sweet deal, and I was actually going to start a discussion about it - until I saw that you already had. . She also joined Coldstone Creamery's, and took advantage of "free drinks" on her birthday at several local bars. Another one you can do, if you birthday is approaching, is sign up for Victoria's Secret email mailing list, as they send you a $10 off coupon (of ANY purchase, no min amount required) when your birthday comes around!

Oh I sign up for a TON of the birthday offers!! When we went to coldstone on my birthday, my husband and I split the free ice cream. It was just enough for both of us and it didn't cost a thing!
I love that in our birth weeks we can eat out for "half price" (free for me, cheap for him or vice versa) if we want to go out :).

We do the free drink at coffee places if we're near one of them, and I have a friend who always goes to Denny's on her birthday for the free meal. I haven't really looked around, I should do this.

I love free offers! Its especially nice at Birthday time. Dairy Queen always sends me two for one Blizzard coupon. I registered my Card at Starbucks.com and now I get a free drink on my Birthday.
The best one though is Boston Pizza. They send me a coupon for a free desert or pasta. There is no catch. No one else has to order anything.
