Yes, you won't always have somebody else to take care of you, you need to be self sufficient. It isn't hard to learn to cook, and it's a lot cheaper than eating out all the time.

Every guy should learn to cook. It's not that hard and from what I hear women love men that can cook. I started baking just recntly and love doing it, even the clean up (kind of). It is 2006 almost 2007 not 1500s.

Yeah. Part of growing up is independence, obviously. And to be independent, you gotta heat up some eggs every once and a while. If you are simply expecting to get away with relying on a woman to be relegated to all the cooking duties, you are sadly mistaken, and in for a rough life. It is strongly necessary for you to learn, starting now. An expectation for the woman to do all the work for you is disrespectful. No need to become a master chef, but you don't wanna be a complete numskull and freak out everytime you turn on the burner.

i think it is necessary for both gyus n gals to learn cooking.the ques is not that guys shud not learn to cook bcos it is the major duty of the gals.i think it is necessary for guys to cook bcos after their studies ,for better jobs, they have to leave their homes.then they find it difficult to prepare things to eat. i have many frnds who r in jobs n theit major prob is that they do not know how to cook. just one of my frnds is happy that way bcos he learned cooking along from his mother.after marriage, it can be discussed according to the understanding that who will cook for the family but before thati think guys too shud learn cooking.

Yes boys should leanr to cook. they should learn because even if they find a girl who will do all the cooking out of joy or something that doesnt mean you should maybe let her have a break you know cook dinner for her once in awhile. I think it is essential for a man to learn to cook! What happens if he is a complete moron and can never find a woman that would be willing to marry him?? If he's betting on having a woman to cook his every meal, he's going to starve! There's nothing sexier than a man who can cook, and there is nothing wrong with a guy cooking. My dad actually taught my mom how to cook. I take after my dad in that we love cooking big dishes and making big messes!!
