It sometimes feels like not enough is being done about it. they still manufacture high emmission vehicles and everybody uses plastic and most don't recycle. here in south africa there is just no issue about it. there are very few recycling plants and no effort is being made to lower energy use whatsoever. their action plan was to cut the power every 18 hours for 4 hours at a time. and usually at night. guess what happened, paraffin sales went through the roof and candles were sold out. there we had more smoke pollution than ever. the climate here has changed very dramatically. there is more snow than ever here at winter times and the summers are very very hot.
