Many people wish to go and work abroad. They endure home sickness and feeling lonely being away from their families for the sake of the higher pay. If you're give an opportunity to work abroad with a high pay, would go for it? Would you take the job in exchange of being away from home?

It would depend on my financial situation, the country, and if I could take my family with me. I had an Uncle who took his family to Saudi Arabia during his oldest daughter's high-school years. She missed out on a lot, especially in a country where women aren't valued. Sure, their family got to see countries they might not have otherwise, but I don't think it was worth making his wife and two daughters miserable. On a positive note, they were able to pay off their home. My husband has the oppurtunity to go to Australia for six months, and we are playing with the idea. Everything I have ever heard is that the tradeoff is not worth it, but six months is a relatively short period of time, especially if the kids and I could go halfway through. Not sure how I would survive two toddlers and an infant on a long flight by myself, though.

I might certainly consider this offer of working abroad. I would be very interested in doing so. However, I would have to talk to my husband about it. It would somewhat depend on where it is, as well. I would certainly be interested.

It sounds very attractive. However, I am married and I also have a child. It is too difficult for me to leave them. So it is not so possible for me to work abroad. Although I can get more money, but I may take a risk to lose my family. It is not worth. To me, family always goes first. I love China

I would LOVE to live and work abroad, I honestly would!!! Of course, just because you MAKE more money doesn't mean you won't spend more or the standard of living won't be hiring. If I could turn a profit AND "travel" and get to experience a different country and culture - that's an obvious YES!

Hello, I wouldn't go abroad for higher salary. It is not because home-sickness or loneliness, but it's just because I think my country needs me more. I want to serve the people, my fellow country-men. I think I can do it better if I just stay and work here. But in case I have to represent my country abroad, I will be more than happy to accept such a job. Being away from home doesn't worry me much. Wherever I go I will build my home right there. Thanks. God bless you.

Yes, I like to work abroad with higher salary. I don't mind leaving my family if I can send them big money than I am getting now. Since I am still single, it's kinda easy for me to leave. Sometimes, being with my family give me headaches, I insisted that I don't have money and yet they are still asking me to give them, so I might work far than getting headaches with them.

Yes, I would actually like to live abroad for a short while even without getting a higher salary, so if I could get a higher salary too, I would be really happy! I would not want to do it for the rest of my life though, but for a short while would be okay!
