please help.. This is my problem right now. Our company doesn't give our salary on time. They start to do installment basis upon giving our salary. They started to do this practice late last 2008 and still doing this up to now. All of us are really upset about this. Unfortunately, we can't file resignation bacause we still want to get our pending accountabilies (e.g. incentives, maternity benefits, etc.). What can we do in this kind of situation?

If you know that they are just fooling you, then you should sue them collectively with your colleagues. It is your right to be paid for the work you have done. But if they are having a rough time and they don't pay you because they cannot, then I suggest to do a good job to bring back the company in the top and then the rewards will come. But if you see no solution then search for another job. This is the best I can tell you. But I think you always have the right to sue them and if you are right then you will win and you will get paid. Good luck!

hi rappeter.. I am inspired with what you have said. You also have point that we have to do a good job to bring back the company on top. This one will help to motivate us. The reason why I'm still in this company because I know that we have the best quality product in the market nowadays. I still want to help the company and hoping it will get back on track.

It sounds like a scary situation to me. Here's something to think about: if they don't have the money to pay you in full on time, they may not have the money to cover incentives when the time comes. Have they been paying people for maternity benefits and whatever else they've promised? It could be that they are not making as much money as before and have to find ways to keep going. I don't think suing them will solve the problem, as a matter of fact, it will probably make things worse. It could put them out of business. You have to make up your own mind, but if it were me, I'd be keeping my eyes open for another job.

Everybody should do a boycot.. and so what they still have to pay you even though you file for a resignation coz they still owe you...that is really unfair.. I know its hard to find a good job now a days.. but as you was saying you last there for 2years..how come?

hi princess.. thank you for responding in this. yeah you're right. We want to plan a boycot. But most of them is not willing to do this because they have family to support. We cannot do this if most of them is like that. I've been in the company for 3 years. I really love my job, but in this case I'm already planning to give it up. Thanks so much again.

What can I say. How much the company owe you that you all unwilling to resign and get new job? My suggestion for you; 1. Try get a new job. 2. Then sue the company for not paying you all. There must be a law protecting employee from employer like this. Trust me, if you can raise the strong case you might get more money from what they owe you. I cannot think anything much better than this. This is what have been practice by most people globally.
