Why can't a party be a party without wines, beers, rums etc.?

If you have noticed, seldom can you find a party where alcoholic drinks are not being offered, right? It's a symbol of all celebrations at all times! When someone fails, he drinks. When he is happy, he drinks. Drinking has played an important role in peoples' lives. Why is it so?
Hmmm...do you drink? In what occasion or what reason do you drink for?

Drinks are a mild tranquillizers. They make you forget although temporarily your worries, Your sorrows ---- that helps you to enjoy that particular moment. That is the very reason why you attend the parties. As far as I am concerned, I was a regular drinker a few years back. I used to drink 3-4 times a week even alone at home. Now I have almost left the drinks. I may drink twice or thrice a year if I come across a group of close friends. It is without any doubt that you enjoy your party with drinks. But that does not mean that those who do not drink can not enjoy their parties.

Hmm....drinking just lighten up the atmosphere in the party. But as I have observed non-drinkers would usually not enjoy. How could they enjoy when all the people around are partying while they sit in the corner? :-)

I have no idea, but you are indeed right, it is pretty rare. I am not a big drinker myself, I mostly drink at parties etc. For social reasons, I guess you could say.

I do drink. I have noticed that drinking may either give life to a party or just bust it. We've all been to parties that offer booze and those that don't and it had created such a big difference. I would not say that at all times it is the best way to have fun but the most important thing is for the party goer to know his limits, be responsible for one's actions and party on!.. :))
